Hi wen I was a kid my dad tied a rope around my leg and put a bottle on the end of it so he can see me when I'm in the water and I used to swim in the North Sea in England uk that is wen I was 16 years old I know 58 years old yes a long time ago my dad was a diver he was in the Merchant Navy back in the early 50s he learnt to swim as a diver whilst in the Navy he went all over the world from England to Australia Japan and the other Islands you can get love your channel have a good day and enjoy

That Bahamian Racer Snake venom may be harmless to humans but I'll bet it would be quite unpleasant for some time. Loved the diving and spear lesson, water looks beautiful. Are you two safe from Hurricane Beryl? 🌀💨 Hope so.

I've heard the fur from the coconut smoke, keeps mosquitos away if you burn it like incense. They didn't mention no see ums.

we did burn the fur, but it went QUICK and the no see ums were like... DINNER IS SERVED! lol.

One of my better campfire meals - shrimp alfredo from scratch... there was none left. The sauce was tough trying to maintain a decent temp. Something that will help with the bugs... shred some of the coconut husk insides, place it on hot coals so it smokes, bugs gone. Fair winds...

I live in S Louisiana and have a camp in Bayou Pigeon. Frogs are fun to eat but going out in a boat and headlamp to catch them makes it even more fun.

How I would have framed the beach scene: Surf-Bro Snake to Brandy/Johnny: This is our beach, bra! Beau/Bohdi to Surf-Bro Snake: The **** it is! Beau/Bohdi wrangles Snake which wraps itself around his arm and makes several attempts to bite him. Brandy/Johnny scrambles back to the dinghy, searches frantically, find the parang, runs back to Beau/Bodhi and tosses it to him as Snake is rearing again to strike. Beau/Bodhi deftly grabs the parang out of the air while holding off Snake, and in one smooth motion, cuts off Snake's head. Beau/Bodhi to Snake head: Whose beach now, *****? Brandy/Johnny to Beau/Bodhi: Whoa, man, what happened to all that Zen Buddhist crap?

Ha,, not sure if that guy was venomous or not, any bite hurts!. But the important question, is it edible??? PS, tip.. that cordless Sawzall works great on coconuts... takes a little practice, but a lot less labor intensive!!

the labor intensive part would be the multitude of steps to take to get to the sawzall that is under the vberth. so technically bashing it up against the rock with the machete was easier lol. #boatlife

No you’re right to be sure but we do have a lot of bull sharks and they have been known to ram a boat. Would you believe that they are now being found in the Atchafalaya basin now? That’s all fresh water where my camp in bayou pigeon is. Heck I skurf and water ski in there!! Yikes….

i guess you can eat most of the fish here, but the actually tastey levels very. and some are too boney, too small, have a high risk for ciguatera, or don't taste great.
