Man I’m 33 and I get chills when I hear this. Those instruments, the emotion of the song, the transformation video sequence when Usagi does the pose in the part “sailorrr mooooon” before the tiara shows up. Damnnnn 😂❤️

I agree. Sailor Moon just went downhill from each season after R, imo. The one after R was okay, but the last two seasons were pretty garbage.

@@Frozen_Death_Knight I completely disagree. While SuperS was a pretty boring season, Sailor Stars was incredible, a very worthy ending to one of the best animes of all time.

@@125Dave8 Compared to the manga ending it was bad. The final battle in the manga was fought at the very core of the Milky Way itself. The anime reduced that to yet another fight on Earth. What a complete letdown. The Sailor Stars characters in the anime were overall very annoying and the most likeable of them was just constantly hitting on Usagi which got very old very fast. I also hated how the other Sailor Scouts got no standalone stories in the final season and were basically background characters to Usagi, Seiya, the Sailor Stars, and the villain. Really think about it, the other Scouts did not get any significant development after the Sailor Moon S season. That is just depressing when realising the final three seasons span around 100 episodes or so in a series of 200 episodes. The show overall really started to drag after Sailor Moon S, with Super S being the worst offender and Stars being the second worst. They really could have cut down on a bunch of episodes and the story would have felt a lot less repetitive. I marathoned the entire show in a few weeks years ago and I can tell you that I completely zoned out several times in the last two seasons because of how dull and repetitive things got. The first few seasons also have their dull and repetitive moments, but at least it felt like the show tried to have decent pacing.

@@Frozen_Death_Knight well, Sailor Moon was always repetitive, even in the first season. It was always formulaic, and the story always revolved around Serena. I've never read the manga, and I do agree with you about the girls's character development, however the same can be said for Serena herself, who spends the entire 200 episodes crying about food or school; the character development was overall very poor. I hate R because Darien is an asshole (to be fair, he always was an asshole, but he was a specially big one in R) and Rini doesn't help either (I've never been a fan of her, hence why SuperS is my least favorite season). S I like and appreciate because of Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and Saturn, who introduced some much needed variety to the show. As for Stars, I really like the Sailor Stars and find them to be some of the most complex and interesting characters in all the canon. The fact that the first 6 episodes are their own contained story line really makes the whole Stars arc feel a lot shorter than it is (and IMO rmakes the whole SuperS season completely unecessary) and I was actually left wanting to see more of the Sailor Stars with the Scouts.
