A middle-school student named Usagi Tsukino befriends Luna, a talking cat that gives her a magical brooch enabling her to become Sailor Moon: a pretty soldier destined to save Earth from the forces of evil. Luna and Usagi assemble a team of fellow Sailor Soldiers to find their princess and the "Legendary Silver Crystal." They encounter the studious Ami Mizuno, who awakens as Sailor Mercury, Rei Hino, a local shrine maiden who awakens as Sailor Mars, Makoto Kino, a transfer student who awakens as Sailor Jupiter and Mamoru Chiba, a high-school student who assists them as Tuxedo Mask. A young, aspiring idol named Minako Aino, who also operates as Sailor Venus, later joins them, accompanied by her feline companion Artemis.
Viz Media has released a DVD box set.

@@Kamsae wasn't a particular fan of the cringe slice of life stuff. I shouldn't say I "hated" it, I more or less just wasn't that into it. First real anime for me was DBZ, then Pokemon, Digimon, medabots, zatch bell, Inuyasha and yuyu Hakusho, those are the things I was REALLY into and very nostalgic for.

I grew up on it and I can admit that it can be difficult. There was a SIGNIFICANT amount of pointless filler episodes. But if you ever want to delve into the series, there are guides out there to tell you which episodes you need to see for the story and which were pointless monster of the week shows

@@staceymauro8718They’re not about to do that!😂😂 The only English words that are in the Japanese version of the song are midnight and moonlight! 😂 I have to say the Japanese version has grown on me. But you can tell in this version that guitars and drums sounds are rev up. The Japanese version is long er. By the time it came to America, it was no longer an anime! 😂 I used to wonder why Serena had a big ass tear coming out her 😂!!

The second opening does not just spoil that Zeke is the Beast Titan, but that the ultimate power of the coordinate is that it controls all titans (even past Titans) and past Beast Titans have taken different forms in the past if Falco’s Beast Titan mean anything. Dang, I remember watching this with my aunt in the early 2000s when I'd spend the day at my great grandmother's house. Still get goosebumps. also as a kid the bunny jokes never made sense with the old english dub as in that Usagi was named Serena, blonde jokes stuck around though.
