Here is a video I edited together that shows all of the Saints Row characters that appear in Volition's Agents of Mayhem IP, it also shows the differences between them. Keep in mind Agents Of Mayhem is not Saints Row 5 or a Saints Row spinoff, Agents of Mayhem is a completely different IP from Saints Row although they do share a universe much like the Red Faction series.

Pierce as a Kingpin is so satisfying seeing as most of his ideas were either ignored or the credit was stolen.

Part of the issue is that Pierce’s skill set doesn’t really mesh with The Boss’s style. It says a lot about how The Boss operates that their most trusted lieutenant is Johnny Gat. Pierce’s skill set is more aligned with influence and planning, that would mesh much better with Ben King’s style

@Skeletor I'm excited for the new Saints Row, and this is coming from someone who played all of the previous games. I'm glad they're doing something different and the fact that it's college students needing to pay off their loans and they started gang in order to steal the money, I think that's hilarious. Now it's not off the rails crazy like the previous two Saints Row games, but still crazy enough. I will miss Johnny Gat though.

@@Masterlessons77 yeah but it’s sweet that there’s a continuance to the story, it’s also cool and makes a little bit of sense. Johnny kinda breaks t he 4th wall points out we don’t like the game and neither does he but for him his life and world probably looms the same with a few kicks and punches thrown in like the jumping, it fits with the ending of gat out of hell where he resets the world and reality edit: gay.

God basically gave Gat the choice to go back to the beginning, before saints row 1, the downside? The saints don’t exist anymore, the gangs of Stillwater became allies under pierce, it’s not confirmed, but my head canon is that Persephone is this worlds incarnation of the boss. The idea is that yeah, the saints got back together, but they’re not the people we knew. I believe that Gat was in a police force, but ended up going into a coma coincidentally when the world shifted into this one.

@@void-master9077 basically, he tweaked Gat's life so he'd have a chance to be with Aisha. This way, he'd have a chance to be with her. The Saints would probably be the only ones to remember what once was before the reboot. Basically, earth might take the Zinyak threat seriously and prepare accordingly. This way, earth actually manages to win and Zin tech gets spread around tge planet. That'd explain all the advanced tech they have.

I love seeing my boy Pierce get the respect he deserves, the man had legit bright ideas and The Saints just saw him as the butt of the jokes sometimes. Nothing against the Saints or anything but man I always saw Pierce as a true replacement for Dax from SR1.

Actually, it isn't, because in Saints Row IV, when Shaundi was telling the Boss that they might be attacked by aliens, she also mentioned that Kinzie had been saying it for a while before Matt and Asha mentioned it to Shaundi. Therefore it makes sense that Zinyak would be in the files.@@blackfoxmember304akaexo8

(spoilers for sr4) I don't know why they even went to hell in the first place in the true ending for saints row 4 you find out that zinyak had a time machine so why didn't they just go blow up zinyak before johnny was captured and then earth would not be destroyed and the people for sr4 would disappear due to pardox reasons (or what ever the makers of the game say) and boom no more need of reconning the saints

Even that looks very cartoony and like a copy of Overwatch for single player. That "restore" ending in GOAH was a bang, it had a perfect dark tone to reboot whole series without losing it's core and characters at the same time.

I genuinely dislike Saints Row 1 very much, but i love 2 and 3. 4 was alright, Gat Out Of Hell was just bizarre and Agents Of Mayhem had some decent comedy but it had a very unfocused story, i don't even remember any character except Yeti.

@@johnhouston1590 I can understand the graphics. Definitely didn't hold up especially compared to some other 2006 games like oblivion. Gameplay actually ain't horrible- I think the clunkiness really comes from your control preset. I had mine more akin to modern GTA controls. What about the Playa - customization, or how he just is in the first one? Youve peaked my interest

@ARAF IFRAD He/She's not a pre-established character, The Boss is a question mark, so they just opted it out. Makes sense but i would have added him anyway as a male because of the promo art of SR3 and 4 that makes him seem to be officially male.

Agents of Mayhem is the what if Johnny Gat Chose to Restore Earth and Recon the Saints. I honestly feel like the canon ending is where they find a new planet also I heard in Saints Row 4 there was an ending where they got a time machine and went back before the destruction of earth to stop Zinyak. I'm hoping for Saints Row 5 we learn more on the Zin Empire and I hope the canon ending is the saints finding a new planet and something big happens again.

I think Volition have already stated that they've made 4 non-canon, but haven't given any details on how that will happen in game. SR5 should see the return of Killbane so we can finally get our revenge on him without sacrificing Shaundi.

For anyone confused this was a game that was made in an attempt to make a multiverse due to gat out of hell and saints row 4s dlc and endings. So it would stand to reason this universe has both the male and female boss character we play as normally under the guise of percephine and Hollywood. The Saints never formed as a gang. Pierce seems to be the only one that seems to still carry out his role in the saints with the other main gangs from Saints row 1 and 2 (and probably 3) while Johnny became a cop and Kinzie decided to stay with the fbi ie. think back to saints row 3 she was fbi whom we kidnap but she ends up preferring gang warfare to the fbi. Shaundai is assumed to be still a stoner and whatever else the other characters we know in saints row reverted to roles that they were somewhat in or are given new roles say like Johnny gat being a cop. (Just a point to make I didn’t play the game so I don’t know the actual storyline they are in but I understand the premise they were going for).

Kinzies cutscene shows that Ultor hover bike (SR3), that sniper rifle I don't remember the name of, that VTOL fighter jet I don't remember the name of (SR3 and 4), and the dubstep gun (SR4).

So pierce took Ben King's place as the head of the vice kings but also reunited all rival gangs as allies Gat after wishing to god to reboot the world of saints row, became a Cop Kinzie became somewhat like Matt Miller but became to be an FBI Agent once again And Oleg became a Russian Soldier Just makes me wonder since we do know Saints Row 5 is in the works, I wonder how the lore of saints row continues from here

i have a feeling that scheharazde (correct me NICELY if i said that wrong) could be the female Player, she knows about other dimensions, possibly in one its her as the Player in the original Saints Row games, similar to how Hollywood is thought to be the male player

Likely Shaundi stays as a promiscuous stoner and/or joins the Sons of Somadi if they exist in this parallel universe. Shaundi only cleans herself up because of Boss. In this one, Boss aka Persephone is a different person and wouldn't give stoner Shaundi a chance. At least that's what I think the reason is for not having Shandi in this.
