The key is to NOT LET ZAPPA HAVE ANY SPACE. IF you tried to zone him out, you play into his little game because summon have 2 ways to appear (Either based on the clock or from his Centipedes special movie. Yes, the summon does not have to come from Centipedes.) Funny thing was that this is the ONLY GAME where Zappa is top tier.

For a character that should be weak when he doesn't have a summon, getting a random summon when he gets knocked down, and having a somewhat safe Dp to summon one is a bit crazy.

I like the improvements to your hit confirms. The fafnir cancels into either super or RC follow-up combo/wild throw mixup are nice. An optimal hit confirm that you might find fun are variants of 2k>2D>BR(1st hit)>RC into sidewinder loops. After the RC depending on weight you might j.D into sidewinder for the confirm. It's damn good damage for 50 tension

If you guys want a good news, it's unlikely Zappa will ever comeback because in the story he's cured from what made him a vessel for the ghosts. I know they can just reverse whatever in the story if they want, but they kinda follow it sometimes.

Yeah Zappa is broken as fuck. Literally the most broken character probably in guilty gear history. Hard to punish DP's (only -12 with decent pushback and most people can't convert off f.S in GG), unreactable overheads, unsightable sword mixups with no hurtboxes, low profiles like Faust because why not, infinite combos, unblockables, an actual win condition in raoh, etc. So much fucked up about him. Testament is a walk in the park compared to Zappa and he's also broke. Around the same level as PetShop from JoJo, but he isn't banned.

Raoh and the ghosts are actually the easiest to deal with. Raoh has like one good low move. And not too many other tools to open you up with Dog and sword are way way scummier with a good zappa. They give him unblockables/infinites and much more utility overall Really good zappas will make you afraid of the sword more than anything
