Wolverine was a more popular character at the time (him being in all of the original Marvel VS games) but I do think Cyclops shines more in the series as a whole.

Also, wanted to mention Magneto and Bison as the second most epic pairing. Only odd thing is that comic book Magneto would HATE Bison.

Rek Sauce I feel Omega Red is the biggest question mark for this games roster.

JasonDS64 He's one of Wolverine's most well known foes. Yes Sabertooth would have been a better choice, but Omega Red also had a much more different moveset than anyone else. Plus at the time of the game Omega Red was seeing a lot of panel time in the comics.

Nah, Shuma and Blackheart were way more obscure than Omega Red. Hardly anyone who wasnt a diehard Marvel comic reader even knew who they were. I remember seeing those 2 and was like who the heck are these weirdos,lol. They were the only characters on the roster i didnt know.

Well Cammy is part of Delta Red and Charlie's a secret fighter b/c Shadaloo had to screw him over in this series as well.

The Once and Future Prophet Knowing how often Capcom rumors are completely right (one big leaked rumor was the inclusion of menat, Ed, kolin, and abgail in SFV a few months ago), we gonna be seeing them very soon, since super Street fighter V apprantly comes out this winter. It's apparently gonna be a free mega update, with arcade mode, new supers and v skills and triggers, moves, and with the season one and two characters being included free of charge. I honestly can't wait. Plus new game modes as well.

That game was not made by capcom, so it should not be included on this legacy series. Also I personally think it was an awful game.

The imperfect characters were awful, the story mode sucked (The imperfects kicked the butts of all Marvel characters and since I am a Marvel fan it pissed me off, also the imperfects where not cool), the AI was terrible and spammed special moves over and over, it lacked a decent combo system (one normal combo, one using the special abilities of the character and one air combo, really? That's lame). The only things I liked was using Spidey, Daredevil and Wolvie. If it had been a good game EA would have made a sequel, but they preferred to hand over the Marvel license to Capcom which allowed MvsC3 to be created, which was a good thing for the FGC.

Also, Cyber Akuma is a (partially) new sprite.
