Hey guys, WHAT IS YOUR THEORY ON FINDING USED TISSUE IN THE BOWL OF NOODLES? COMMENT AND LET ME KNOW!!!! (wrong answers only lol) I think it's most likely the uncle recycles the soup from the previous patrons instead of discarding it after they finished their noodles. 😅 also, i got a little annoyed at the amount of typos in my subtitles, hope you'll let that slide please 🥺 was checking them with a headache that doesn't go away this whole day BUT I also don't want to redo and reupload cause i don't want to keep you guys waiting any longer 😵😭

Soup are cheap af, if i'm a bad noodle store owner, i rather recycle the meat than the soup. That tissue might drop from the lid of soup pot. The lid is really hot, they usually cover the lid handle with a towel or a tissue to lift it up. Well, it's just another theory 😂

I've experienced once this situation, and the cook explained that maybe when she tried to dry the bone with this the paper, she forgot to throw it away. It sounded reasonable for me maybe. About the theory of recycling the old soup ^^ to me, it's quite funny but don't worry, believe me that no one would do it, because firstly, the soup would not look clear, and the noodle after long time in the soup would dilate. So my theory about the tissue is that it was unintentionally thrown into the soup pot. And I hope that it was not used ahhahahaha. But anyways, so sad that you have again experienced that rare situation. If next time u face something like that, don't hesitate to inform them, of course they would be shy a bit, but they would not be offended but replacing a better serving for you

You’re right! If it was recycled the soup wont be clear. But since the tissue paper was crumpled up, I assumed it’s used😂 I was taught to throw used tissue into the bowl after we’re finished to prevent the soup being reused in M’sia so i assume the same thing might happen in VN hahah. And my used tissue looked exactly the same 😂 Thank you for your concern hehehh but i just kept quiet since it didn’t really stop me from enjoying my meal! I’m sorry you experienced the same too. We’re the lucky ones 😇

10:55 it could be "sấu ngâm đường" (Indochina dragonplum in sugar). Sweet and sour, it's really good beverage.

Love your videos. And for those toilet papers, shower gels, etc you should go to the supermarket to have them. Convenience store don't sell those cause Vietnamese don't use toilet papers that much daily, people tend to buy them in super market or local store. If you want to enjoy more international foods or vibe you can go to Ho Chi MInh city (Saigon)

Happy to hear that you love them! I really never thought of going to the marts/supermarkets since I wanted travel size amenities. But luckily i found some tissues around the house. Thank you for the suggestion, can’t wait to visit saigon one day!😊

@@sakurasnoopyy yeah hope 2 see you one day in Saigon. At first I was worried when you stay at a local house in Sapa. Cause even with Vietnamese we are not easy to adapt to the local food daily life. But your guide was amazing. Wish you could try a Vietnamese family meal. it will be another level of discoverying others cuisine

LOL, the woman at 8:56 with southern Vietnamese accent. She thought you are Vietnamese so she asked u to record a video for her 😅😁. I am a little bit surprised that you don't eat any Bun Cha in your videos because it is the favorite food of many foreigners when they visit Hanoi.

It’s called Chicago Pizza located in Sapa Town. 5 stars on tripadvisor! (Chicago Pizza Sapa on tripadvisor) Definitely try it out :)

I hope you are okay with the tissue thing. Totally understand when there are like used item or wastes in your food. I think he does not know about this too. It reminds me about how I "ate dirty" growing up all this time 🤣 But yeah, just hope it is not like the lok-lok incident in Malaysia then I would not be complaining like a Karen 🧐😭

@@sakurasnoopyy omg so there's a lady who owns a lok lok restaurant, posted on facebook complaining that the customers break the lok lok sticks into half, and she criticised them for wasting the sticks because how hard it is to run a business these days and she is trying to save costs. 🙂 The worst part is people explain to her that the used sticks are dirty and it is for safety purpose to break the sticks so the workers wouldn't be hurted when cleaning the mess. That lady just kept arguing with how the customers wasting the sticks at the end 😭

you are so brave and patient and kind. I am vietnamese born and raised in the west. i find it difficult to wander around HaNoi. i say eww to everything and refuse to eat at local vendors. if i found a used tissue in my bowl of pho i think i would died. but seeing how you react to it and how you roam the streets with so such love makes me feel like i should blame my parents
