Sal shares a couple of stories about Tommy DeSimone being jealous of Him. Sal details a watch heist he did with some other mobsters and Tommy not being invited. Tommy wasn’t happy. What about John Alite. He’s the ultimate gangster in the mafia and he isn’t Italian but he seemed even closer to the mafia than even made men…….at least in his own head

The first time I ever saw Sal was on a mob docuseries, I believe it was on AMC… I’ll never forget tho his introduction and the story he told… He said that he was supposed to go “teach a guy in lesson” (in Florida I believe), and that he literally snipped the guy’s nuts off with a stiletto… lol can you ask him about this story, if you have not already??? Mondo used to help “hold down” the bar/club, but Joey’s bodyguard was always Peter "Pete the Greek" Diapoulas.. Pete was there at the Clam House that fateful night, but he got hit too by the shooters (and lived).

Tommy wasn’t a good guy at all… I lived on top of a mob owned bar as a young kid in Palisades a park Nj … early 70’s… He shot and killed my neighbors beautiful German Shepherd just to try out a gun. I loved that dog too! Tommy was a hi hacker, my dad was an engineer for Conrail, drove freight trains, Tommy and his crew would shoot it out with Conrail train police while hi jacking the freight trains , they dubbed him 2 gun Tommy from those days as he was always packing 2 pistols. My dad worked with Tommy’s uncle and was probaby tipped off by his uncle on what was on certain freight cars… that said, That German Shepherd story always stuck with me…..
