As far as I know, you are not allowed to draw living beings such as People and animals. What FQE did to circumvent this is by not drawing the eyes of the human being. Allah knows best

Saladin was one of my heroes, until I found out he murdered innocent Muslims (not on battlefield) and was a destroyer of knowledge who burned and dumped books in Egypt. This runs against the Prophet's (s) example and Allah's speech in the Quran. Why did he do this? I take hold of the Prophet and his character (akhlaq) 1000 times before I will a Muslim championed for military victories alone.
