In this episode of Legends of War, we show to go into the details the legendary commander Salahuddin Ayyubi, who took to the roads to end the 88-year-long rule of the Crusaders, and information on the siege of Tiberias and the Battle of Cresson, which took place before the conquest, are on TRT Belgesel's Legends of War.

@ Patriot Pakistani. Not only in the muslim world, when I was younger I read many stories (both historical & fictional) about the Lionheart & Salahudin; and the unique bond these two kings had. Many in the west who actually paid attention during history classes in highschool have respect for the man. And despite the nobility (no matter the continent they were from) in historical records/stories often have been portrayed bigger and better than they were in real life, despite all of this; he truly has been one of the most fascinating kings that ever walked this planet. As a westener, he is one of my personal favorite historical people.

I stole a small booklet on Salahuddin from our school when I was 8, the only time I stole something, I would read it again and again and kept it under my pillow. His strength of character is the strongest thing that inspires me.

As a turk myself I can tell you that we are not claiming anything. There is no need for that. Our history is full of great warriors, conquerors and heros. There are people who are claiming him to be Arab but as it was already mentioned it is not important since he was fighting for much greater values than the people who are claiming him to be theirs nowadays... This documentary is a turkish one and nowhere is he mentioned as a turk

Whole time the narrator is talking about Knight Templar, but in Video they are showing Knight Hospitellars. They have turned all the Man at Arms into knight Hospitellars on foot. Now days movies like Kingdom of Heaven are more accurate in the sense of costume. Again They should mention about Mamluk corps of Ayyubid army. By the way, thanks for translating this episode.

no doubt it is a great effort to depict main events but I want to see & expect to see that how he unite Ummah, how he spread his philosophy, how Ayyubi's inner circle was giving him suggestions, how he did mercy upon civilians, what aspects made Him the great Ayyubi from other warriors. as you know 52 minutes are more than enough. A Pakistani.

Dikkat et aynı tarihçiler aynı kanaldı. 1930 yılları kafatasçıları güneş dil teorisi adı altında önüne gelen devletleri Türk ilan etmişlerdi. Bu tarihçiler aynı tarihçiler değişen bir şey yok,
