I used to work full time as a Sr. Front End Web Developer (I quit this job), & part-time as an adjunct professor teaching web development at a local university (I kept this job - I like teaching!). I've been selling online since 1999. Walmart sucks as a platform. I hate using it and there is no traffic there. They pumped it up at the beginning and after over a year I think I have had 20 sales. In that time on Etsy I have sold 3,000+ items. Ebay has gone downhill in the past 10 years and Amazon has always been mediocre for me (but important to have the presence there). Thanks for your videos and thanks for your honesty. I appreciate that you keep it real.

Thanks, Ryan! Yes, @3:28 we would rather have you be honest about your numbers rather than give us clickbait. In the long run, your taking this approach gives you more credibility, and your viewers will remain loyal. Those KZfaqrs who hype up their numbers and "potential" might get a few click and views, but viewers will not continue to follow them. Thanks for all you do for us!

This is awesome and honestly your down to earth teansparent approach is appreciated. Im a full time 53 yr old teacher but love the creative design side of this whole business. I decided to launch my own website ...learning as i go ...for a particular passion of mine. I am thinking of adding a pod from there . I aporeciate the variety of markets to explore. Tried teerepublic with not much luck but learned a lot and love my own brand lol. Thanks for this and will look into your free course !

Thanks Ryan, i was wondering how your Walmart POD was doing. I want to start it, but been a little hesitant because i would have to get a tax id # and i think i would need an LLC or something plus i don't have any experience using printful or awkward styles. Ive been concentrating on running ads on Amazon at the moment.

Love this Ryan, but i just wonder if a pure split test would be if you start a new shop on each platform at the same time as your etsy may do betrer because its an established shop? Then any product you put up at the same time to each platform, you will be able to compare each platform much better. Just my thoughts.

Hey Ryan I have a quick question for you, When an order goes to production I’m waiting for a tracking number for the customer on etsy how do you get around this hurdle without being late for shipping?? This would probably help others as well with this issue. Love the content you provide!!

Hey Toby, so the order tracking number will automatically be updated in Etsy once it's sent out if you used an integration with Awkward Styles, Printful, Printify, etc 👍

The walmart platform sucks. I have about 900 items up but I know they are not optimized. Would like to hear more about how you are optimizing you listings. 0 sales for me. About the same amount of time on the platform.
