Not the right comparison ,you are comparing CRM with an ERP. In CRM Sales force may standout as a solution but in an ERP space SAP drives majority of organisation. Sales force can integrate with SAP ERP .I fail to understand what are you trying to convey here .Also S/4HANA is extremely user friendly unlike the screens you have shown in your video which once belonged to the older SAP versions .

Thank you for your comment and insights. You're correct in pointing out the distinction between CRM and ERP systems. Both ERP (like SAP) and CRM (like Salesforce) are crucial business applications that store and analyze data, typically through a relational database. They can be delivered either on-premises or via SaaS, with the latter increasingly becoming popular due to its convenience and efficiency. Historically, CRM systems like Salesforce transitioned to the cloud more rapidly than ERP systems, largely because they were simpler to build and there was initial hesitation in hosting financial data on the cloud. Deciding whether a business needs CRM, ERP, or both depends on its specific needs and growth stage. Companies often migrate from basic accounting tools to more robust ERP systems as they expand, while those managing customer relationships in rudimentary systems may turn to a CRM solution. The choice of which to adopt first is influenced by the business model and customer base. Ultimately, both systems are essential for most companies to streamline business processes and enhance profitability by providing accessible sales data and customer insights. Regarding the CRM vs. ERP debate, it's not about one being better than the other; they serve different purposes with some feature overlap. Both are indispensable for modern organizations. While SAP’s ECC and S/4HANA offer powerful business process management across various domains, Salesforce stands out for its advanced, user-friendly cloud-based architecture. The video aimed to highlight these differences and the evolution of these systems, and your point about the modern user-friendliness of S/4HANA compared to older SAP versions is well-taken.

Very good analysis. I would like to ask you 1 more difference. Can you give me few examples on which kind of companies have CRM as priority and which have ERP as priority.
