How to deal with flatworm in saltwater? I use 2 different methods, a predator fish and the salifert flatworm exit.
My Springer Damsel seems to have done the job, but after many months I lost him and I introduce new coral.
Despite dipping my coral, I believe I also introduce Flatworm. How to eliminate Flatworms without fish: I started a treatment of the salifert flatworm exit but the results are mix.
It seems to work fast but many flatworms resisted despite triple the dose. I believe you need a lot of treatment to kill them all.
Does flatworm exit kill nudibranch? The answer to this: NO

Curious to know for who it worked? Also if you have other suggestions for natural predator let us know in the comments! Edit: I receive comments also on FB --> Malachite Green - Levamisole powder Edit 2: I did 2 treatment couple laters, the second one I didn't do water change. It seem to work, will see if flatworms comeback, not planning to be new corals.

Hi, I also had flatworms in my Tank. This tank was filled with corals and a tridacna. When i was adding the malchite green, the flatworms was running and died all, but also the tridacna closed up, therfore i removed the tirdacna in a other tank an all was fine. I have not so much experience with malachite green and it worked for me, but i dont no how harzardous it is. Maybe some people wont advise this treatment with malachite green.

Hi, thank you for this informative video and your speaking is just fine my friend. Does your Damsel eat the type of flatworms that were not killed by the Salifert product? These flatworms kill lps corals, and seem to really like euphylias. I have never seen or heard of such a beast before and I now have them too. They lay their eggs in the ridges of the skeleton and blend in with the tissue.

I hope I never need this product but I've had luck with wrasses. 👍🏽

Yeah wrasse are really good fish to remove parasite. The choice selection get harder when you have a small aquarium. In my next aquarium i'm going to be extremely vigilent about this :P

@@AquaSplendor I'm not sure what your timeline is but if you were thinking to upgrade in the next year maybe a small wrasse would be nice

@@gabesreef I will stay at the same size (Apartment size obligation). I had a six line wrasse at one point. Love the wrasse, just wish they were cool with sexy shrimp

@@AquaSplendor I have a very small yellow banded possum wrasse. Unfortunately I have no sexy shrimp but I also dont have flat worms.
