We have a similar dish on the northwest coast of British Columbia. A broth made from oolichan grease, seaweed, water. Added to the simmering bowl of broth is raw herring eggs on seaweed slivered, sliced smoked cockles, baby clams, and raw salmon eggs, served over rice with soya sauce added because why not?

Не знаю, как вы, но я предпочитаю есть лососевую икру, сделав несколько бутербродов или блинных рулетиков с икрой и сливочным маслом. Свои предпочтения может проявить любой.

@@user-my6xd6yn6y а я, Сахалинка, не понимаю вкуса икры со слив маслом, да ещё и с перчиком. Любимый рецепт, это только что посоленая икра, дать ей стечь, затем в неё растительное масло и мелко рубленную зелень укропа и лука. Да на хлебушек. Объедение.

Взять отличный продукт и испохабить... Любимый способ приготовления чего либо в азиатской кухне. Берешь хороший продукт, смешиваешь с какой нибудь черной жижей, специй килограмм, поострее, поджарить все в тонне старого жира.. Все, кушать подано.. И да.. В Корее еще кимчи подать к любому блюду. От мороженного до морских гадов каких нибудь... Предполагаю, что гастроэнтерологи в Азии самые богатые люди...

If you make a pot that has a water inlet at the base you could process the caviar much faster as the lighter parts will be flushes from the bottom upwards

My mother in law used to cut a wedge out of a radish and scratched the eggs off from the skins with the sharp edge. Not too soft and not too hard tool, that was her wisdom.

When we catch salmon we use the roe to make bait balls to catch more salmon. You wrap the eggs in small (quarter size) balls and tie very fine netting aroun then attach to a treble hook. The fish love them.

As I understand my dad did catch salmon so when I was litle I had so much caviar but now picause in my country in a city the law of catching salmon isn't allowed so no more free caviar for me
