I have been wanting to do this race for some time after watching some videos of previous years events, and it defintiely lived up to the hype.

excellent effort!! I'm doing it this year and it'll be my first 100km (if I mange to finish it at all i'll be amazed, i'll be very much clock watching to try and make that 18 hour limit). Did you sign up again for this year?
