Wore these on a half day hike during a land nav class I gave. very comfortable, and light. really happy with them.

Good to see a modern jungle boot. The OTB and Altamas are ok but took time to break in. Will be interested to see how they wear.

I met a Swiss major this weekend sporting the same salamon’s as mine in black. He was wearing them in a downpour. Was totally happy with them.

On another point. I work my gortex haix scout 2.0 boots. My feet got wet.

@mikebox for the wetter/colder seasons I use aku pikgrims or salomon quads. Been looking for a summer boot. I use the Altima Maritime Mids for canoe and boat use. But need a better boot for hiking etc
