Fix the noise by cutting off the zipper pull. Then fiddle paracord through the remaining part of the zipper and tie a nice lanyard or figure 8 knot from the paracord. All nice and quiet from there on... Greetings from Germany!

Great video! I used your idea on my dogs carhartt bed. I used a small crack pot to put the sno seal in, and melted it down to a liquid in the crock pot. Then I used a paint brush to apply the product to the dog bed. Some places have more wax than others, and some places will absorb water instead of repelling it. So my question is, how do you decide when you have enough product on your work?
@mikebox
@mikebox 15 күн бұрын
I paint it on. The take out a heat gun or hot hair dryer and heat up the area I’ve painted in the snow seal. Apply more in the spots that lack the wax.

Very very few english language vids on this poncho system. To buy it you have to be hooked on Carinthia products. I cannot get enough of them. Yes, it's expensive but it probably is the best poncho system out there and eventually I'm going to get it. Mike didn't get into all the details but I'd like to know how long it is with the zipped in hood. I'm 6'5" so eventually when Mike actually uses it, he can mention the specs. Note that Carinthia also makes a really light sleeping bag known as the G40 liner. Very light and can be used on its own as a summer bag or to beef up your three season bag and make it a four season bag. No vids available on it so maybe Mike would want to check it out for us. If you want military sleeping bags made by the same manufacturer with the same insulation and quality but a bit cheaper, check out Vertex Outdoors.

I’ve been selling Carinthia military bags for a very long time. I’m no longer dealing with them. But love them. I own several bags from them. Including the jungle bag and the fleece liner they offer. The carinthis poncho liner is for up to 2 meters. But from expertise with a friend of mine who very tall. This still works.

The Canadian version of OD BDUs was in fact thinner than US BDU, which I thought was odd as Canada is colder.
