Quick and easy how to repair roof rattle noise on E93 convertible with hard top in closed position. BMW 3 series cabriolet will develop knocking sound above headliner and some water leaks in A pillar with higher mileage. Hope this video is helpful for you, thanks for watching!

Hi Sal. I’m writing from Spain. I have seen a lot of your videos. I have a M3 e93 like yours. I have modified the stock exhaust and it sounds really good. I own that car for five years and I’m thinking about changing for a F-Type ( specially V8 version ) Do you recommend me that ?? In Spain is very difficult to see a F-type on the street. I think is beautiful but very smaller than the M… Your DIY videos has helped me a lot many times. Sorry with my english. When I see your videos I always think that you are brave doing that jobs on the street. Thanks !!!

you never showed this but does this rattle cause the hook latch to not lock in all the way? if so, that’s what’s causing my problem. the hook latch isn’t going all the way, only locks halfway through. can you confirm this for me ? i ordered the new plate that brings both latches

also should i put the washer on the driver side if that’s where it’s lifting/leaking ?

Sounds like you may need to remove washers to get it to close since maybe the conical pin may be too long.
