Salt and Light🙌 Good News in the Garden ✝️🛐 *359

Salt is salty even in small amounts, and it's a preservative. Mat.5:13-16 tells us to be the salt of the world. Well, if Jesus tells us to BE the salt of the world, how do we keep our saltiness? By shining His Light into all the corners of the world! If we keep it under wraps, it doesn't shine, what good is His Light? So we have choices! Be salty! Don't turn into a pillar of clumped-up salt or only turn on God's Light when we feel like it! Shine on! Amen!

He has recently gone viral with a short clip of a sermon, but this one, with the theme, "How far behind are you following," is a perfect message for each person to hear, especially a Christian! I encourage you to listen and, perhaps listen again. I am keeping this one on speed-dial!
Would you like to share His Gospel with others? Then I will eagerly support and encourage you! Start by praying and see where you go! Revelations 3:7b, What God opens, no man can shut, and what God closes, no man can open! When we are standing before such a mighty God as this, and His Holy Spirit will be with us, guiding and directing us, we will not fail! Harvesting for God can simply be reading His Holy Word and/or offering personal experiences or wisdom you have learned and earned through your life. Or it could be as creative and imaginative as God sends you ~ maybe even a garage band creating "Garage Gospel"! Remember, benefits are out of this world, in paradise! God bless you, my friend!

This is today's devotion. I know you are here now. Such a beautiful garden. We are ducking in and out of AC here. We have to do shopping today. If you get rain ask God to send some to us. God bless you. Thank you so much Bev. I love your devotions. I even love repeats. God bless you and keep you well and don't work too hard in the heat. Even humid days can drain you. Oh, my sweet sister! Thank you for your so kind support and for helping me keep up with all these devotionals! My one year was July 1st, so I am positive I would have called it the end if it weren't for you keeping me going on! You have tirelessly shared the Good News Gospel with others right along with me, so I think we are reaching ears, being God's Salt and Light around wherever He helps us get to! God certainly brought you into my life as we paint a beautiful picture of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ to share with His children! Amen, Sis! Thank you, Lord, for Your mercies and Your grace! Sister, I could not possibly work outside except to do the very minimum. The heat index is about 109, and we are just not used to that. We have chances for rain over the next week, so I hope it pans out. I will pray for you to get some rain. I know you all must really be needing it. I don't know how our vegetation or trees will hold up. We are supposed to have over 100 heat index for the next seven days. It is going to be brutal. Jesus, we are looking forward to your return! Sister, we had to get out for medicine and shopping, and to take care of our oldest daughter's fish tanks and the grandkids' gecko. I threw some water on her plants, too, outside. The snails in a couple of the fish tanks (she has 9 tanks!) gets frozen veggies. Today i threw them small pieces of frozen yellow squash and peas in the shell. She has beautiful greenery (potted plants) everywhere inside and in the fish tanks, and the gecko's huge container/cage is like an aquarium on its side, built up like a rainforest. His name is Gizmo. My grandson's beta fish is Gilbert. My granddaughter's beta is ~ oh my, I have forgotten! I'll have to ask her mom! Anyway, sorry for that side track! I hope you are safe getting out shopping, as It was absolutely brutal out there for us. Hopefully today is the last day of the actual high heat. I will be glad when it cools off, to say the least! Thanks, again, sis ~ Love you bunches!

@@ATouchOfTheSun We must have 100 geckos at any one time here in Tucson. They make their homes in bushes, tall grasses and my daughter, Tina puts out logs with the middles out so they can hide in them from the birds and cats. Lexi loves geckos. She tries to play with them and we have to stop her. She thinks they are toys and it ends badly for the gecko. Also she likes to roll in what they leave behind. LOL We are breaking that habit. It sounds like you have a lot on your plate. God knows we are only human. And we try to please everyone. But do not overdo. Especially in this heat. It really is nation wide. All due to that naughty little brat El Nino in the Pacific. Warming the Pacific warms the country. La Nina is better. She cools the ocean and brings moisture to us. But she fled south to Antarctica. They don't need more cold there. LOL I pray we make it thru these "birth pains" Jesus mentions. Many women used to die in child birth but very few die in labor. We are in labor. God bless this nation we are going to fall if we do not get our Christian voice on. Everyone who is Christian should be spreading the Word NOW. There are so many predictions about this being the last year. We can only hope. But do not try to outguess God. If we figure it out then the devil knows too. This is God's secret. Just when the devil thinks he has won this world God will drop by and let that old devil know who is really running the show. GBY dear sister. I do love you so much.

@@JJDigitalartStudio Oh how cool is that ~ geckos by the 100s! Awesome, indeed! Yes, that's funny, too about Lexi and her bad habits ~ lots of pups do that! I don't have a clue why!!! Yes, my "grand gecko" has a palace with lots of hiding places. Interesting that you have geckos in the desert, but Gizmo's home seems more suited to be called a rain forest setting! I have to mist all the interesting ferns and orchids, etc. It is quite something, I'll tell you! Oh, you said a brilliant analogy, about birthing pains and labor. Boy, does that stick with me! I don't know why I haven't thought of that before. I don't think God says anything about comparing His plans to being in actual labor, does He? I think that would give the destroyer a certain bit of knowledge that maybe was supposed to be kept under wraps, perhaps? Anyway, it sure makes perfect sense to me. There is a channel on YT I like to visit, he is biblically based, Brother Paul, about end times. Step over and visit him sometime. See what you think. Boy, this heat is nasty. I guess you spelled it out what I can blame it on. Seems like El Nino is causing irreversible harm to many! But it probably is part of God's plans for us. Hysop was used to spread the blood of the lamb on the doorpost, to save the people from the angel of death, I think it was the male children, God bless you Beverly, the salt of the earth are people that are good honest and reasonable, salt and light are the followers of Jesus Christ, God bless you sister I love you, thank you for the word of God, I will have a video for you in the morning, it will be 10 or 12 minutes long, ❤🙏, it's raining, 🌦️

Awesome teaching, there, Norm! I am fortunate to have some hyssop (so far it has survived the heat). Now when I see it, I will think how it played a part in God's plan. Thanks for sharing that ~ and for also spreading the fact about the blood on the doorposts and the children that were spared because of their family's obedience. I hope others will read this about the Good News and wonder how they fit into God's plan all these thousands of years later. And we all do, indeed! I am very much looking forward to your Good News, I hope, tomorrow! I am excited to hear whatever you have to say, because it will be from the Holy Spirit walking with you, and you are His child now. Praise God! You are the Salt and Light of His Kingdom! Hallelujah and Praise God for His great mercies! Have you had a chance to listen to the Matthew West song, A Man Seeking Grace?
