the funniest part about edible gold is it has no flavor at all, lol. So outside of aestetics it doesnt bring anything, and salt bea's steak doesnt even look that nice But tbf, no one orders this "golden" food regularly, most ppl just try it for fun or out of curiocity, and never do it again.

@@localhobo5362 It takes under 10 bucks to cover a normal sized steak with gold leaves. They're super thin down to molecular level. There's barely any gold in it. Salt Baes steaks ain't even that good to begin with. You could cook a decent golden steak for just 30 bucks worth his 700 bucks steak.

I went to nusr-et (salt bae’s restaurant) a couple years ago when they opened. It was was over priced but he also came by and did his signature move. And he didn’t seem bored by it at all. My guess is he was doing this move before it went viral. And he will continue to do it after years of it being viral

Salt Bae has always been kinda cringe, but man I can't stand watching/hearing moistcrit. He just comes across as judgy, self-righteous, and just has an overall smugness about him. Can't help but compare that to asmon's being objective and/or at least attempting to understand where either side is coming from. I also kinda remember salt bae having kind of a rags-to-riches kind of life. Not into his stuff, but can't not respect the hustle.
