i have the silver QFO, 07 PRO, 06PRO, PDX2300 as of now .. Vestax was truly a company who embraced the turntables culture they listened to and incorporated the top brass of DJ's when it came to product design. WE truly miss Vestax

Yeah, I agree with you that companies need to take more risks and explore more like they used to.

The PMC 05, mixstick, 07 etc were indestructible! Not the best sound but built to last!

They only made a few high-end mixers....the 17 was not one of them lol... The PMC Cx and the PMC 50 were the ones that killed it for sound! I owned the 50a and I know it sounded better than the A&H 92!

I love the classic technics 1210s, but my vestax PDX-D3S turntables are more sophisticated. No longer slamming my sausage fingers in the plater or record to beat sync 😊

YEAH fellow, i have a pair of d3 mk1 and the rare mk2... such marvellous pieces of innovative dj gear...by the way, the only unit who was beatin specs of the 1210s at precision value, a.k.a platter wobble....they are sharp as a swiss knive... i recognized, that these are really valuable in recent days!

Vestax always innovated and pushed Technics.... Not sure how good the sound of the PDT 5000 was but Technics always won for sound quality and build quality....pity Vestax never pushed the quality of the 5000! Having a spring on the tone arm is a bad idea unless you don't mind killing ya precious vinyl and having loads of dollar to keep on replacing your stylus...in my opinion a bad idea but to reiterate, innovative! I miss Vestax!

yeah, they were definitely trying things out I like when companies take risks and innovate. Too bad they didn't get to keep growing.
