@@honestbenny Well I use everything in the game because it's fun. I typically use IFG nades. And yes, you're correct. Cryo and IFG are better. But unlike some other people in the drg community, I don't have my head far up the ass when it comes to min/maxing... I personally believe it's about playstyle. Cause anything is viable in vanilla hazard 5, so it really doesn't matter if you're skilled at the game. Also, the boomerang has amazing stun durations. It IS a good option. Just not as good as the other two. I would argue if somebody can't make the boomerang work, it's 100% a skill issue. And they're using it wrong.

@@honestbenny Vanilla meaning unmodded difficulty. There are mods that make the game MUCH more difficult. I've done 4 mining expeditions, haz 6, 2x enemies, and true solo(no bosco), and it's pure hell. That's when min/maxing actually matters. There's a lot of toxicity in the min/maxing side of the community in my experience. Just play the game and experiment with everything.
