The echoing is perfect. I kept hearing my friends say "Breathe" on repeat when I did it. I have no idea if I stopped breathing or not, but afterwards I asked them and they said they didn't say a damn thing. My whole arm dematerialized and got sucked into a shoebox, at which point I jerked back and my arm reattached. And of course all the visuals along with that "buzzing" or "vibrating". If you're going to try Salvia, make sure you're with GOOD PEOPLE in a COMFORTABLE ENVIORNMENT. The trip is short, but that shit sends you to the edge of the universe for 1 minute, and you're back home just as fast.

Theres a lot of misconception surrounding salvia. Salvia isnt a deliriant, it's an atypical hallucinogen. The psychoactive compound in salvia, Salvinorin A doesn't have any anticholinergic properties, meaning it doesn't fit with the typical criteria for deliriants, and the visuals and trips are MUCH different, ive experienced delirium and its nothing like salvia. In terms of mechanism of action it acts mostly on Kappa Opiod receptors (KOR), these receptors are also activated when you take a wide range of dissociatives such as ketamine or ibogaine. This is what leads me to believe salvia is MOSTLY a dissociative, but salvia DOES have some similarities with psychedelics, albeit minor. Salvinorin A is also a partial agonist of the D2 dopamine receptors. This category includes dopamine agonists like Ropinirol, LSD, and, again, Ketamine. This leads us to believe that Salvia does share some similarities with psychedelics, but the issue is that Salvinorin A has no action at the 5-HT2A serotonin receptors. Most, if not all, traditional psychedelics, act on those receptors. Meaning its not really a psychedelic in our current understanding of what a psychedelic is, its closest to being a dissociative, but does share slight similarities with psychedelics. Salvia is also known for causing positive mental changes just like psychedelics assuming you approach it safely. Salvia shares nothing in common with deliriants. Another thing to point out, salvia is heavily dose dependent. Lower doses feel like being in a nostalgiac memory, with a warm body high and lots of pulling and stretching visuals, some slight gravity distortion, but at lower doses salvia is very calm and gentle, i use low dose salvia for meditation purposes, its a shame theres so much misinformation about it. It's a very useful plant, just as useful as any pschedelic in terms of mental health applications, you just have to respect the plant and research how to dose it properly. The adequate dose for these effects is ~100mg of plain leaf, so if you were to do a bowl of say, 40x, with like .1g of 40x in there, youve just smoked 40x 100mg of plain leaf, OF COURSE youre not going to have a fun time. Its like dabbing live rosin your first time smoking weed, youre going to be really uncomfortable and feel awful, but if you start with flower (or in salvias case, if you start with plain leaf) and slowly work your way up to extracts, you will have only pleasant salvia trips.@@dg20038

Yup, the folding feeling, when I smoked it I blacked out and saw a white bar against a black background. All of my senses and motor skills completely failed then the salvia made me think I was that white bar. The bar started folding over onto itself as if it had a joint installed right in the center. In that moment, when the bar folded onto itself, I could feel my entire life folding into nothingness. and I remember the trip felt like "Ok so what you thought you existed as is over, you're no longer a human, and your new reality and entire being is now nothing but this feeling of physically folding into yourself infinitely" Absolute weirdest shit I ever smoked. Don't try that shit. I also remember seeing different colored boxes at some point in the trip.

That sounds like my experiences with it. I'm convinced I'm just a hard-head that never managed to breakthrough, but when I describe my most intense experience with it, it sounds as if I was out of my mind. Like when I had a hit of 80x and thought, "Why the hell am I not tripping on this yet? I better have another hit," and I peeled my 50 pound arm off the armrest, and picked up the 50 pound bong, and loaded another 5 pound pinch of salvia, and lit it with the 5 pound lighter. Still no visuals, so I closed my eyes and... still no visuals, but an external pressure began squeezing me, like I was sinking to the bottom of a pool, while a repeating pulsation of infrasound was hitting me in waves. But I wasn't tripping. I knew who & where I was, but I wasn't anywhere near shattering reality or anything. I became impatient when the experience stopped intensifying, so I got up to smoke some weed. I overcame the intense gravity, and peeled myself off the chair (that I totally hadn't fused with) and walked over to my bong, which was difficult under the intense gravity, compounded by my lack of balance which made the floor seem like it was rocking back and forth as if I was on a boat in rough seas. So I smoked a couple 5 pound pinches of weed, and guess what happened? Nothing. I got stoned, and probably started watching salvia videos wondering what went wrong.

The transition up until 0:21 was relatively spot-on to my experiences back in the day, as a young university student. My friends mentioned the "copper layers being peeled off reality" like was depicted in this video, but my experience was vastly different to what they described and what this video shows starting from 0:21. The main difference was I entered wide-screen mode, black bars on the top and bottom of my vision. Then, out of the peeling fabric of reality, the most beautiful and charming woman appeared floating while laying forward. I remembered my entire life (flashed before my eyes) and fell to the ground crying/laughing with utter bliss. I began making snow angels while this woman presented a book out of thin air - the pages turned as if propelled by a strong wind, and my joy intensified. I laughed/cried until the experience ended (about 5 to 10 minutes total) then went to class feeling enlightened. 10 years later I met that woman and she's the love of my life. Life is a funny thing.

It both is and isn't, like the real world is pretty much exactly as you see it/experience it, but we're so used to how we interact with it that we don't question how weird it is. I feel like these drugs erase the barriers of your preconception so you start to view reality a bit more objectively. This is just my theory but the feeling of "oneness" that most people seem to experience on psychs to me is the brain interpreting that we're literally all the same in that we're all just atoms rearranged differently. We are only different from other things by comparison, and the more differences you take away only similarities remain. So while in sober life you're very different from lets say, a green crayon, while high you unconsciously see everything at its fundamental. I am composed of atoms and electrons, this green crayon is also composed of atoms and electrons, therefore there is no real difference between me and this crayon at our most fundamental, which means I'm the same as everyone else at its most fundamental (i.e that feeling of oneness). And usually a trip is a pretty "traumatic" experience, which is intended since naturally occurring psychedelic substances are defense mechanism so that the mushroom or frog or whatever has it doesn't get eaten. Its literally a death simulation that it activates in your brain and you get to experience what nothingness is like (or as close to it as you can get outside of actually dying). So when you finally come out of it you have that feeling of euphoria because you realize you're ok, not actually dead, and because you thought you died your brain went "damn maybe I regret not doing this, or i should have been a better person, etc" which is what people attribute as these life changing breakthroughs. At least this is what ive taken from my experiences and trying to see it objectively without much of the mysticism surrounding psychedelic drugs. It's a slippery and far more dangerous slope than people make it seem. If you have some underlying mental health shit you could become a full blown schizo permanently after one bad trip, or have a severe bout of depression afterwards like I did. Its pretty much a dice roll whether or not you have a good or bad experience@@krupo5934

yes it happened to me like 1 months ago , i was in my room and i just had bought an 10x extract of salvia (0'5g) and decided to just put that shi in my bong and then i lighted it took one big hit and held the smoke in my lung for like 15 seconds before seeing everything start to vibrate upward and backward at the same time really fast , and i just lost it i exhaled the smoke and everything went blurry, i only remember looking at my hand's thinking '' i finally done it i fucked up my brain i'm always gonna stay like this'' while feeling like i was being folded onto myself idk if you get it, and after that i just regained consciousness on the couch of my living room with a little cut on my wrist and water all over my shirt , then i re entered my room and it was a mess , i had threw everything that was on my table on the floor , broke my bong on the floor , and somehow burned a hole in my couch

I believe salvia is one intoxicant that is totally unique to each person. I bought a bag of 60X about 15 year ago. My visions were always vivid and clear, not melting and morphing like this depiction. Each trip I found myself on a cartoon farm that looked like a children's board game with plastic farm animals, equipment and barns etc. The colors brick red and sort of a lima bean green always dominated the landscape. One time I found myself embedded in the cement block that was the step to our back porch. That was freaky. I never finished the bag but did trip I think 6 or 7 times. I can't say it was ever a pleasant buzz but it is an experience. Also I found myself speaking in what seemed like a real language but nothing recognizable. I wound up filming myself because the feeling wears off so quick once it starts that my memory just floated away with the effects. One word that stood out [spelling phonetically] "farencooth". I found myself saying that word often in my babbling. Another constant was I was always outside with no shirt and though not "cold" I felt just cold enough to wish I had a shirt on. When I came back the room was never as cool as I felt during. The last time I tried it I felt myself being peeled apart in layers like a ream of paper and it seemed like I was struggling to breath. That was the end for me. Thew away the rest. I never took a really huge hit either like I see some people do. A little goes a long way.

Done it 2 times and didnt get that far gone luckily. The shifting of the visuals that your looking at is pretty accurate. For me, everything i was looking at was moving to the right of me, out of my vision. The best way i could describe it is like being in a circular room with an image that is connected to the same image around the entire room. My view would slip away to the right and then reappear from the left. Had to focus on reality to stop it.

Got sucked into a black spot that appeared on my buddies forehead on Salvia once, ended up falling through something similar to the end if this video, the thing I never could have expected however, was waking up on a river beach next to simba and Nala as cubs. Spent three days camping out, playing. And cuddling with those cubs, until a giant red catfish that looked more comical then a magikarp, jumped out of the river, ran across the beach and ate me effectively returning me to this reality. I have a few of salvia experiences. It was starting the same everytime: the world turns out sliced into many-many thin concentic rings which was like matched the whole time giving me nice picture of reality, but for the trip moment they starts turning around, each with different speed, so they all unmatching more and more, and my body following them and like slicing apart. And everu time I felt like some hidden dimensions are sucking me in. Then each trip has some differences. In one, I felt my brain or mind physically spreads forward and backward simultaneously into infinity. I saw every tiny piece of the reality is made of some RGB-like substance, like I saw the pixels of reality. Trip was short in reality time but for me it was like lifetime there. When I trurned back to reality it was like 5 to 15 minutes (idk really, but not long for sure). But the whole evening of that day I was feeling that reality is really not so real. Then was couple more trips. In one I was floating as some sort of space cube with tails in front and back of it (not our cosmic space but some superspace in higher dimensions). I was not alone, there was other cube-shaped entities floating around and they was friendly. I remember when the trip was close to the end they telepathically told me something like: see u later friend. And it felt like later is when I would die. It was not scary at all. It was so peacefull. Like they waiting for me, but not like they want me to join them as fast as possible, no. It was like they are my real etearnal friends of my real eternal soul and they don't have to worry about anything neither do I. We just knew that one day the time would come and we will meet together one more time to float together in peace and joy. That was probably the most healing and inspiring and calming experience ever! I grateful to Salvia Gods they touched me 👏😌

I smoked salvia once with a friend and when it kicked in i started fighting it. The world turned into a tiny pendulum and my own body weight was more massive than the earth. Pretty sure it opened up a door that i didnt want opened. 10 years later i had a bad panic attack that woke me up and i had a salvia flashback about the world being a tiny ball flying through space and my body was once again larger and more massive than the earth. That happened 5 years ago and to this day, i still have a phobia about being on a planet flying through space at 400 million mph through the milky way galaxy. It messed me up for years when i had that weird panic attack. It's not so bad anymore, but it will never go away

@MackMackthorty can you get lsd? ALD-52? Since youtube is okay with peddling transgenderism to children I don't give a flying F talking about Schedule I drugs on their comment section anymore. Big tech and the government can go piss up a rope. They spent our entire social security funds in Ukraine and Biden threatens to send US troops to Russia if congress won't let him send another 100 billion to Ukraine. That's going to literally put us in direct conflict with Russia. So if they can literally start world war 3 then I don't give two shits anymore. Our futures are already uncertain

yes same here. purgatory is a good way to describe it. i kept telling the dentist i couldnt feel the nitrous until i left this world. i was being judged and laughed at by everyone i knew 1 at a time. everytime i tried to punch one a different person would appear. eventually i came too with the whole office staring at me with their mouth open. i had pulled the mask off knocked trays in the floor and had all of the cables around my arm. a similar thing happened once from weed also.

was nothing like this by me ! i just fell to the side and were in a room full out of this light ppl talking about which is so bright but u can look directly into it with no problem. And its full of Love and just everything was made out of it. And i looked myself playing with toys like dinosaurs from the top edge of the room. And something or someone was standing in the door also watching me playing and that "person" was rly happy and took care that nothing bad can come into the room. Like i said everything also my little me and that person in the door were made out of this light... but still i knew that kid is me. But i rly cant say who that was in the door. All ended with bells like a school bell and when i came back i got a panic attack was like 2 minutes before world goes under and im the only one who knows about it try to bring everyone around me into a save space. got 2 more panic attacks in the 2 weeks after the trip one meanwhile i was driving (thank god nothing happen) But ever since than it is like the reality is just a wallpaper like i can just scratch my skin off and there is this light again. IM NOT RELIGIOUS IN ANY WAY! Tried to hold it simple and short :D hope my english isnt too bad. Respect the Substance!

I remember seeing a large vortex open up behind me, the chair I was on folded around me and tried to suck me into the vortex. The 1 minute nightmare was insane but the main feeling I remember was the relief during the comedown and the 5 minutes of giggling fits I had afterwards. Really felt like I had experienced something profound and made it through to the other side. Very weird.

Just add in forgetting your name, where you are, and everything leading up to your life at that point, (all the body feels described by other commentators) and this is pretty accurate.
@scottrc5391
@scottrc5391 6 ай бұрын
Forgetting your name? How about forgetting the CONCEPT of having a name? Or forgetting even being human? It's beyond "ego death" as from LSD, which in most people basically just distorts perceptions of real objects. It's even more primal, acting at the very seat of consciousness, the claustrum, which connects our non-self-aware primal "lizard" brain to our "conscious" and higher level neocortex. This is the reason I think many people don't remember much about their experience. At too high a dose, it seems to just skip our memory registers entirely. And yet I've read stories about people who were nearly permanently traumatized to the point they'd never even discuss what happened. It fascinates me.

Many liken the trip to a conveyor belt, train, or assembly line. I wonder what ancient tribes (like the Mazatec) experienced during a trip. Obviously, these technologies didn't exist at that time. Is it possible they also envisioned something similar, or would it be impossible without ever witnessing these technologies?

Humans are hopeless pattern matchers. Whatever concepts you're aware of at the time of a spiritual epiphany / epileptic seizure will form the metaphor you use. If you watch Spongebob right before a trip, then you'll use Spongebob terms. If you climb a rock face beforehand, you'll think of rocks.

Pulsating and cartoons, seeing 10 of each person who might be near you, uncontrollabele giggling/laughter, slight euphoria, spinning, confusion. I tried it out in the woods with 2 friends out of a bowl the first time. Didn't believe the experiences they were telling me about so had to try for myself. They were spot on. First thought upon exhaling the thin smoke (which you can and are meant to hold for approx 30 secs) - "this is NOTHING like weed"

Mine was similar to the start of the video, the end not so much. At the start of the trip everything went very colourful and bright and i was being pulled down and back into my chair. i was in a forest and i remember closing my eyes for a second and when i reopened them we were in the middle of a field. i was just starring out into the field for a while because it looked so beautiful and then i looked at my friends who turned into these sort of devil characters. not scary at all. i could tell they were my friends and that they weren't going to hurt me. when i realised that they had changed, i was extremely confused and in awe, the whole time i was asking, ''is this real?'' ''if i were to die right now would i die for real?'' i was with 3 other friends at the time and one of them was really annoying me the whole time saying, ''he will realise in a minute'' while laughing, mocking me. he was repeating that a lot and i still dont know what he was talking about. i was obviously very confused and he kept on trying to confuse me more and more to annoy me. then i remember nodding off in the chair. he woke me up and when i awoke the floor turned into huge bouncy bubbles. we started bouncing on them messing about. after that i remember finding a big king size bed that looked very comfy which i decided to sleep in and it woke me up from the trip. after the trip i was extremely confused and discombobulated. once that weird feeling left, i felt very calm and like all my anxiety was just gone. my friends also filmed some of it and i was saying nothing in any of the videos which was weird as i was having full conversations with them in the trip. a very odd experience but definitely worth it. I did it twice, one after the other, as the first time I only had some mild visuals and the pulling thing. this was the second bigger hit.

One time I had a migraine at my grandmas house, and she gave me a pill and said it was ibuprofen. I took it but I started feeling really weird. At one point, I felt like I was in a different world or reality and that if I died in that reality, I would go back to mine, so I tried to suffocate myself. Luckily, I was still coherent enough to where I remembered that I was drugged and that if I suffocated myself, I would die for real, so I just laid in bed and waited for the trip to end
