Eurovision us orchestra backed, live music. It was a great song and there's always the one that stands out, which Sam's did for us in 2022. Magic!

Sam Ryder came second last year in Eurovision with this. Ukraine came first. As Ukraine can not host it this year, the second place country gets the title of holding it, so this year it’s in Liverpool United kingdom on behalf of Ukraine.

To avoid the logistical nightmares of rigging live instruments for 26+ Acts with 0 Technical issues within the 2 hours or so it takes to get through the show, the instruments used on stage are not live however I believe in most cases when the act uses an Instrument in their performance, it is them playing on the backing track. It's one of those 'suspension of disbelief' moments that Eurovision accepts for when you have a 5 Piece rock band and know that only the Singer's mic is actually doing anything.

You should react to Joker out. They are a band representing Slovenia this year at Eurovision. You would like them, they are so charismatic. The song is Carpe Diem and the live version rocks!

you should definitely check out his performance from this year's Eurovision where he performed his latest single "Mountain" - its this level but like 10x better for real!!!

I would also recommend his performance of mountain at the interval act of this year’s competition. Like you said, his energy is nucking futs.

yeah he is an amazing vocalist - but he isnt actually playing the guitar

And still- it didn't win for political reasons- i really disliked ukraine for this! the ESC should stop using entries for political statements once and for all. its just not fair for amazing artists who deserve better.
