Painful, beautiful rolled into one, must have been so hard but Sam did amazingly this night as i'm sure throughout his recent tour dates! a true artist and professional but raw with the reality of life (and of course loss), so many struggle and WOW this is sooooo important for us humans to be open about - Sam ....AMAZING (I was there that night up top one of those little lights and trust me the crowd were nice and loud for Sam all night but you could hear a pin drop through 95% of this beautiful and personal tribute). Go Sam look after yourself and your loved ones, you carry Dad with you always

This tore me to my soul. Edit: Your comment on equipment only being useful if there is good "input" is spot on. Many new performers worry about equipment before honing in their own craft. Edit 2: chords seem like simple minor chords (maybe some m7) but played where the 3rds are always resonating. Loved this reaction and you arent human if this doesn't get to you.

I knew his dad had passed away but I had no idea how he died. Over the years I have lost 2 family members and a good friend to su!c!de. It hits very different in those circumstances. I can’t even fathom how it feels when it’s a parent. This is one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking things I have ever seen.
