These types of explores are the best for story telling. We can see how they really lived and get an idea of the people that lives in the homes. It always is a sobering reminder, that all those material things we humans crave, really don’t matter. They just get left behind anyway, forgotten. Especially if there isn’t family to take on the legacy of things. Live life to the full guys. Forget societal expectations, it’s rubbish. Non of the materialistic stuff matters, enjoy yourselves instead!

That would’ve been a really cool little cottage years ago. Makes me feel sad that the poor gentleman that was there last had to put up with so much i.e. leaky roof, etc. That was a great explore guys minus the sheep poo💩 it’s hard to grasp how bad the smells are that you guys have to put up with to show us what it’s like to live there. I can only imagine. Really enjoying this Irish tour. Thank you so much! Safe travels. Sending love as always.💜🤟🏻🤗🥸🇺🇸

I had that set of soup bowls you collected them went you bought so much fuel from Shell petrol stations they also did a set of breakfast cereal bowls as well I also got all that set plus spares of both sets. Good old Shell petrol stations brilliant. I must admit I was getting a bit sick of the big houses abroad I much prefer houses that I can relate to and bring back some nostalgic memories of times past, thank you for letting us live our lives through you as this is something I’d love to have done but my wheelchair is not the correct mode of moving to get to some or most places never mind getting in and around the houses so again thank you.😊😮😊

Interesting little house! Really get that 'slice of life' feeling, like the person living there hasn't left, or could walk back in at any moment. Wonder if the untouched nature of 'bandos in Ireland is a combo of community+population density+ religion kind of thing, certainly catholicism is full of guilt and tribulation and thou shalt not trespass etc. The untouched cigs and booze really shows how untouched it is, probably no one has been in there, so went into hospital and died...? Jess not realising why properties seem to get abandoned around Christmas was cute, sorry Jess the cold and sickness bumps off the oldies in winter! Great video! Stay safe out there! Looking forward to the next!😊🙏

Hi this house has alot of 1970s appliances. The radios are called C.B. radio's (citizen ban) they were really popular in the 70s and had a huge following. Everyone had a 'handle ' a name unique to yourself, self appointed. I think the family were protestant in faith. Ulster Scots, this would explain the music and picture of the Queen. The bowler hat would have been worn during the July marching season.

Really liked how they decorated the exterior with coloured glass amongst the pebbles. Didn't see a kitchen anywhere, except in that really cool caravan. Be interesting to knw the history of the property. 🦘🤢😖🥰🤔

Not to be ornery, but it's not southern Ireland. It's the Republic of Ireland. Not part of the UK like Northern Ireland. And it's pretty unusual in the Republic to have an abandon building with a roof. Due to tax laws, if a building doesn't have a roof the land it taxed as empty, whereas if there is a roof, it's taxed as residence. It does make me sad that these places are just left... looking at their lives I wonder what happened.
