When that Barbie came out some people including parents didn't want kids to see her packaged without a father as it potentially promoted single parenting as a whole. It came with everything except a father/ male doll. There's other reasons on why it got banned but that is just one of the reasons.

Actually the ones who Made children choke are Called „Überraschungsei“ Thats German for „surprise egg“ and it’s from the Same Producer like the joy things, but the Joy chocolate was released way later 😅 I was wondering because Nobody seems to Mention that 😅

17:06 This reminded me of smth that happened sometime late january this year. My school was doing a middle school x high school thing where some high schoolers came over to the 8th grade to discuss what we can do in highschool, what the options are, extra curricular, etc etc. Well there were stands with each of the high schools classes (excluding acedemics), and they were giving out little knick knacks and other things like snacks. There was one stand that had fidget spinners, and i swear every kid that had one in '17 were going wild over them. Some kids snuck two instead of one and they began trying to steal spinners from other kids. We cant use them during school anymore because they're too annoying and "distract those that are actually trying".

Here’s some of the reasons why some of the toys were actually banned or remodeled: The Kinder Joy Eggs used to just be a toy capsule covered in chocolate, so apparently some children didn’t know they had to peel away to the chocolate and thus choked on the toy inside. So Kinder had to remodel it to the half toy-half candy with plastic over design. Additionally with the Slap Brackets, the part inside that let them slap onto children’s wrists were sometimes made with the same material as tape measures and the cover over them would peel off and expose the actual sharp metal. The Clacker Ball back in the 1970’s was made with metal balls, and the product was that kids would swing the string in such a way that the balls would clack and make noise and collision. Due to the material however, the metal balls would eventually break into large and little chucks and cut kids, especially since it was concerning near their eyes.

Yeah, I feel most American kids are much stupider. I myself was born in America and even I'm confused how the kinder surprise eggs got banned, even when I was a kid i knew not to eat something whole especially when it's advertised to have a toy inside. They were good though, miss them. Edit: well I don't mean all American kids are stupid, but a majority of them are.. I mean they managed to get a hollow chocolate egg banned.

@Sambucha the slap bracelet is really sharp if you take of the paper like cover, because underneath the cover in a bendable piece of very sharp metal that can cut a pineapple, or at least it could for me. But back when the slap bracelets were famous, kids would take of the cover and cut themselves, one kid hit the big vain at the start of his hand and he had to get an amputation for it.
