The first truly healing song I’ve ever heard. I suffer from anxiety. Today I was full of hate towards myself and doubt in myself. This song reminded me that there is love towards yourself and happiness if you choose it. Things will be alright and you don’t need to worry. It made me happier. And realize I’m too harsh towards myself. I’m amazed. Thank you for this song. I will listen to this in the mornings to try to remember these words during the days. @@ZENSIBLE I believe that they are referring to Mahadevi but that when translated to English we have no differentiation of the female all-encompassing God from the male. I do think it can be distracting from this song as the word tends to bring to mind western white masculine patriarchal view of the Devine. Just a logical guess as I don’t know the writer or their intentions.

Mantras aren't new to me but Kirtans are, this song and Om Ganesha found me when I was living in a Domestic Abuse Shelter after leaving yet another toxic abusive relationship and helped me to heal. I was singing along to him and my 2 year old daughter (who also cuddled and watched intently but slightly more sporadic, being a 2 year old 😉) and it was a beautiful time 💖 I subscribed immediately. We watched "mama" as well and he loved watching and listening to that too, as did I. I listened and danced to some more of your music after and can safely say I will be listening to much more of you guys! It is easy to feel the genuine love coming through you all and it was a pleasure to witness. 💖 I also just shared "Mama" on my Facebook. 💖 The more love (and connection with Mama Earth) we can spread in the world the better, especially right now! 🌍

I was up at 4:00 in the morning attempting to connect with the goddess and singing along with this song. This was such a profound and powerful experience. I felt like I was imbibing her presence It was so amazing. I haven't felt that happy connected or alive in such a long time. For the longest time, I thought the line "I walk softly on this earth, in the light of God's name" was actually "I walk softly on this earth; In the life I've got sneh" and it was still so beautiful to me. "Sneh" in Hindi means love. Thank you for this song, it gives me so much strength and vitality especially in difficult times.
