Of course because it’s Sammy. The greatest mafia figure in the history of LCN. Jeff didn’t ask Sammy any questions to clear up the doubts he has about Sammy lying on certain issues. Jeff pretty much let Sammy tell us the same old stories. Didn’t provide us with anything new. Jeff pulled an I FORGOTTI when face to face with Sammy😄

No disrespect to PBD, but Jeff's are much better imo. It's the same reason RJ Rogers interviews are good, it's because Jeff and RJ are much more educated about the subject.. That said, PBD's interview with Phil Leonetti was one of the best ever .

For 77 he is in good shape. My father just passed at 79 years old but last few years you could tell his mind was slowing. Sammy still seems sharp.

I love how your history on the Genovese Family especially when Chin was boss with Benny Eggs, Fat Tony, Funzi Tieri, Bobby Manna, Barney Bellomo, Allie Shades etc. They were so powerful. If you could get some good info on Philip “Benny Squints” Lombardo that would be epic. There’s almost no info on that guy, and I still wonder if he was still pulling the strings or getting kickbacks when he retired in 1981, and using Chin as his front boss and Fat Tony as Chin’s Front Boss…? Also, a video on Gambino heavy weight Carmine “The Doctor” Lombardozzi would be fantastic!

I finally got a chance to listen to this. Very cool. Great job as usual Jeff. Best part for me was when Sammy is talking about the attempted hit on Crazy Joe. I had no idea that ever happened! What was better was when he said the Persico crew wasn’t mad at him for not trying to kill Crazy Joe. They told Sammy he was smart for not attempting the hit. Said he wasn’t a jerk-off. Haha!
