Samplitude PRO X6 - composing with only VSTi instruments - Bug tests !
In this video, I write a song.. well I should improv with virtual instruments.

I DO experience notes hanging forever. Some instances of NI Komplete Kontrol. Stops when playback stops, but start the same note again when playing back, regardless of position. Must relaunch the project to make it go away. Have found no cure.

I made this video for this exact reason, I read a few posts on forums and on facebook about this behaviour. So here I used multiple Vsti and multiple instances but didn't experience this problem. That's why I ask people to write down their experiences here, hopefully we can exchange about it. I can't say I wished it occured to me, but in a way if I can't reproduce it with my vsti and controlers, it is hard for me to help. So thanks for saying you do have the problem.. Let's hope someone shines in with suggestions.

vst3 used to be badly handled in X5 , total recall did not work for instance with Surge XT , when reloading a project the sound would be hard panned on one side and presets not recalled properly. Has X6 solved this ?

I curently have X4 to X7 installed in case I want to do a video or help a viewer. So it would take a long time for me to uninstall every versions and reinstall x7 to be certain the instruments installed are truely included. I suggest you download a trial version and here for yourself. Althought there is a liste here : www.magix.com/fr-ca/musique/samplitude/pro-x/fonctions/instruments/

Only problem with steinberg hailon notes play long for n short time.

Hi Marco, thanks for the Video. Currently I only have problems with synchroarts vocalalign together with Samplitude. I don't know yet if it's Vocalalign or Sampltude witch makes to problem. but I have never had notes hanging. And I'm working with a lot of VSTi's.

I think vocalign is a bit slow on developpements and upgrades.. I'm not sure they are compatible with ARA2 yet. Which version did you buy ?

Hello can you help me please, when I try to load the autotune artist plugin, samplitude pro x6 crash and close the software. But autotune efx+10 and autokey2 works fine.

Are you trying to load it on an object or the track.. test both..

@rimeau I try it out! the Same result on track on vocal track and on empty track. I contact the Support, they mean i need to Upgrade to X8. Very sad! because all my other Plugins work very well! my Melodyne 5 ,all my Fabfilter and the other Antares Plugins like Duo, Autokey2 and EFX+10. And now i need to Ubgrade only for Autotune Artist. It makes me a little bit Angry!!!

Scanned through your videos and didn't find the exact problem I'm having. I have Samplitude 10.1 and I'm trying to load new plugins. I have 2 a 64bit I put in the program/vst folder and a 32bit I put in the program x86/vst folder.. I scan both folders and the new plugins are still not coming to my list of plugins?? They both work as standalone programs, just not with my Samplitude

10.1 is a very old version. Now, there could be a compatibility issue. But also with the location. Are they vst2 or vst3 ? folders aren't the same, usually vst3 goes to common files\vst3 Then in the plugin manager you need to specify those path before you hit the scan.. In the end, 14 years old software, is bound to miss the mark with new pluggins.. Sorry !

@@MarcoPrimeau I believe I have the original file locations (you are correct, common files for the vs3t) I think I'm putting the correct path in and nothing! Is it at all possible I have a setting on or off somewhere in samplitude that's preventing new plugins?? About 3 months ago I got Toontracks Ezdrummer 2 and it loaded in my plugins no problem!

@@doty6443 There is a setting for auto defect plugins but even with it deactivated the manual scan should pick them up. I suggest reinstalling samplitude and try again.. if not, think of upgrading..
