if you complete the quest with the black swan and sparkle, you will realize that Sampo really was in penacony. Besides, he's either on the same level as Sparkle or above her. And there is a hint that he is much older than her, considering that sparkle is 200+ years old

@@TellyVee I think he is referring to the fact that Sampo came back to ask Sparkle to give his mask back add to the fact that Sparkle stopped joking around when Sampo got serious is safe to say that She knew Sampo when he had the mask and he was scary enough to get Sparkle worried for a sec that she may have pushed too far And if she is 200+ and he had time to spend in retirement from being with his mask and acts superior to her then he must be older

Might sound like a nerd but i feel like i need to clear out some obvious misunderstandings Shampoo IS in Penacony(you meet him during the Companion quest after you finish the main quest) The Shampoo in the Penacony story quest was actually Hanabi being disguised as him(Black Swan literally tells you she has the ability to disguise herself as anyone) You can see her disguised as Robin in the short epilogue of the main quest Anyways HANABI IS SO CUTEE

I suppose it would explain certain things especially the way he was talking in TB's "dream" back at the start. Not to mention how she basically played Sampo very accurately showing that she knew how he would be or even who he was in the first place. Even his gameplay still has certain things that feel like what you'd find on Hanabi. We can't say anything for sure just yet since they're definitely not done with her but at the moment, it seems as if Sampo wasn't even there from the start.

Sampo still exists, he just denied going to Penacony. Him and Sparkle also don't get along so that's why she impersonated him. Also the reason she presumed firefly was March since she obviously hasn't actually met March before, Sampo would also recognize his loyal customers of course.

@@jeans.406 Yes. The events in the dream take place before the start of penacony's story, and we see Sampo leave at the end of the companion quest. Which means the Sampo in the story quest is actually Sparkle.

The price of multiple factions seeking out Stelle for their ends. Sparkle can call Stelle blind all she wants but you could say Stelle would rather trust Firefly than someone who disguised herself as someone Stelle already has had a checkered history with.

No solid evidence for either side of the argument yet. Gotta wait until they use her character a bit more but she definitely knew who Sampo was in more ways than one. Don't write him off just yet.
