One thing I love shown in the building clip and the Baby Sonic trailer is that when the camera isn't directly pinned towards Sonic, like in his chase with Eggman and the slow-mo rocket scene, is that he is so fast that the camera can barely keep up with what he's doing.

I never... EVER thought I'd say this... ... but Sega, takes some notes from the movies facial animation. I've never seen Sonic this expressive, he looks great! I recall someone mentioned the reason he won't take off the glove is more of a "can't" reason. His original design didn't have gloves, this scene is going off that detail. As for the shoes, yup. He's got mismatched shoes held together with ductape.

Personally, the reason why sonic didnt take off his gloves is: a) they have a special purpose to him, given by someone important. b) he doesnt have any other pair and probably doesnt want to lose one of them because then he'll have to look for new shoes and gloves. And c) he didnt think about it because he was panicking.
