Bret Weinstein had Robert Wright on his podcast, marking the first time Weinstein hosted someone willing to disagree with him about covid. It doesn't sound like Bret will ever be doing it again.

'Cause we did, it wasn't 100% effective, you can't claim something is 100% effective, 99.99% sure, but that was one of the disputes. Most protease inhibitors were tested, PI3K inhibitors, AMPK and MAPK inhibitors, tensin homologs when COVID-patients presented with vascular issues. You need a small-cell treatment with high binding affinity and sp2 or sp3 hybridization, meaning the kinase and ligands could be potentiated to lowest effective doses to lessen side effects, or at least their severity. Ivermectin didn't fit the parameters, it was tested, if you look at cancer, specifically small-cell lymphoma, or HIV/AIDS treatment, you'll find COVID-treatment testing did well to find treatment for other intervention. OMB sucked under Trump, they dolled out grants for irrelevant research when the need for proper replication was immense.

I remember a pre-covid time, when he talked about papers and analysed single words in the papers and pointed out that this is an inaccurate statement etc. And then covid came and the guy turned into an expert for everything and went completely nuts. He is so far gone, there is no topic in the world now where he does not think he is smart enough to be an expert. Great example how a (slightly) above average IQ guy can fall into that Dunning-Kruger hole combined with a dozen other biases and effects. I was wondering, what he does after covid - seems like he is still trapped in that hole and keeps digging. That guy was a teacher in a not great college before he had his woke-incident, which resulted in Joe Rogan "you should do a podcast"-fame. He has published nothing in his entire career except a very flawed paper once and runs around with a Galileo-complex as the right wing poster boy scientist. God, i just watched 30 seconds of his podcast, he talks about the FTX collapse and how there is clearly a connection to the Ukraine and Energy politics, where "the Bidens" have a pervert interest and it is connected to ivermectin and they know more about that topic because they have been tentacled into it... that guy is so far gone and his wife sits next to him and nods and doubles down. Well, if it sells supplements and CBD i guess.

Did you watch the whole podcast before arriving at that summary? Imo, Brett's decision to decline the invitation was an executive and rational one, not emotional or egotistical . If someone said to me: " I think you're crazy and lack any credibility - do you want to come 'round to my place for dinner?" I'd decline to spend my precious time in the company of such a person. And considering their view of me, I certainly wouldn't want to lend them the favour of my name, in attracting others to the dinner party who otherwise wouldn't be interested in attending.

As I just said in another thread, its a very sad downfall. At times during the whole COVID issues he was a voice of balance asking valid questions particularly on the lab leak. But then he just started sliding into nonsense and anyone who questioned his position was a an enemy. This is one of the big problems when we have issues like COVID. Everyone needs to be prepared to accept they can be wrong when nobody has the full picture. But we now live in such a polarised time where any and every public discussion is immediately dragged into radical positions where proponents just scream at anyone who disagrees with them. A lot of public issues are complex and there is no simple answer and there is no simple fix. So long as public discussion is tribalized or hijacked by bad faith actors there is no chance of finding solutions.

If you’re human, u r from a dysfunctional family. No one exempt... some just hide it better than others. I find them just kind of sad. This segment is in no way representative of this conversation. Just like Bret says at the beginning, he thinks he would be able to “masterfully” fend off Weight’s attacks and that’s exactly what happens. At the end, Weight still didn’t even understand Bret’s hypothesis and was just eager to state his own which Bret even covers by explaining that Wright is looking at the issue of military readiness in a vacuum, void of the government corruption dilemma, Covid policy outside the military and the high likelihood that external forces are buying influence in our political system.

@@PlanetOfTheApes999 watch the original podcast instead of this pantomime kangaroo court and you'll see Wright admit he knows nect to nothing about it and even lay out the plausibility of Bret's hypothesis. This was a nonsense hit piece on a man that cares deeply and ethically about humanity, the truth and integrity of scientific discovery. He and the brave few like him are precisely what is needed in a world captured by corporate interests and corrupt officials obfuscating the truth to protect their donors bottom line. Fauci's emails now prove he knew there were grave doubts COVID wasn't zoonotic. There is literally no plausible explanation below corruption because incompetence couldn't have accounted for the litany of systemic errors that persist to this day. Most notably in mandates for children and the armed forces. The vaccines didn't control the pandemic. Big pharma knew they weren't fit for purpose in prevention of transmission and the safety records were so patchy we won't see them for 75 years while they enjoy record profits. Meanwhile the bleaters think it's dangerous to discuss truth because proven liars declare themselves science and clown shows like this parrot the narrative and deride the truth.. all to keep you feeling safe and protect that bottom line.
