It was a long journey before people get to appreciate his coming out, so I understand his fear. He had proven himself and earned the "respect" that's why people loved this real version of him but if it were some random guy, I think there's a slim chance he would be celebrated. Nonetheless, I hope Sam sees how people love him for who he is and how we are so proud of him.

I'm coming super late! I wanted to add that I loooove Sam Smith. Ever since I heard his voice I knew I wanted to keep hearing this voice!!! That smile he let out while he was dancing towards the end was everything. You could tell he was finally opened up and free to be him and he was comfortable. I have so many things I wanna share... I can start with, I love it. I loved the video and all that was in it before you even shared this back story to it. It's like I was under a spell and couldn't look away. I watched it dozens of times over. You can feel the beauty that radiates out of you and each of the dancers. Like it melts you from the inside out. I think it's amazing that you showed so much of your self and that you did LET HER OUT! You did it so well. You all did. Everyone behind it. didn't expect to cry watching this lol but I'm so happy for him. Accepting yourself is so hard, let alone when you're in the public eye and with the way today's political climate is 😪 I'm so proud that he's able to be himself and express himself and work through his anxiety. It's a slow process and a constant battle but I hope we'll all manage it one day 😭 The song is BEAUTIFUL. The melody of the chorus reminds me of careless whisper. ilya and savan did a great job as always, and Sam's vocals are stellar. The video is stunning!!!! Love the scenes and the lighting and the choreo 💞💞💞 congrats

I heard this song on the radio just a week ago & my husband was all in his zone, so I looked it up & fell in love with your video. The choreography was absolutely insane. I used a door frame, put your hands up in both corners and feet in the lower corners. Then, only move your hips :)
