Hold down on the app, click the circle i in the corner, go down to storage and click on it. Then there should be a change button to move it to the SD card.

I'm so jealous, I needed more memory and MY A01 doesn't have a sim slot! I feel so ripped off after watching this video and finding everyone else with success. Am I the only one who purchased an A01 without a sim card?

This sim card is ONLY good for videos, pictures, documents, your notes, etc. You cant move or install apps to it, so Im still kinda screwed cause, sure they give you 16G, but they use 15.9 on "phone accessories" with crap you dont need. Like stupid Samsung this, samsung that. It comes with Facebook (which I dont use) but you cant uninstall it - you can only disable. So sure it doesnt use my battery or memory, but still takes up disk space. I miss flip phones - but I have to have this type for work :(

@@barbarahampton9384 Yes, and Im sorry that happened to you. I was just trying to empathize that even if you did have a sim slot, we're still screwed. Thats rude of them to sell you one without it. Even worse, my carrier FORCES you to buy theirs. I bought an A01, unlocked, totally legal, etc, so that I can use it and they refused and said I had to use theirs. At least I got my money back but had to buy theirs, which is $200 more, of course. I did read what you wrote, and understand you werent talking about that, I was trying to make you feel better but sounds like I just got you mad so Im sorry. I really didnt mean to. Was just trying to have a conversation with a fellow consumer who gets screwed by these phone companies.

What's taking up your space is apps. Formatting doesnt allow you to move apps to a memory card, for this phone. Wish someone told me that when I bought it, my A01 was out of space the week I got it.

@@ciresfrancisco7644 No unfortunately the phone never had the option to move apps into SD. Yeah you gotta be careful when you purchase cheaper phones like this because it's rarely mentioned. You can only move data like photos and media files (but those don't take up that much space in the first place, it's apps and app data that do and they can't be moved to SD ).

Informative video..........but i have a question 4 u. I have the A01 phone with internal storage of 16GB. I've used 95% of that. Bought a SD Card, installed it & have 120GB available. I formated that SD Card. Went to app store to add new app to my phone. Instead of linking this new app to my new SD Card, it took me back to Internal Storage & requested I delete apps to make room for the new app. HOw do i fix this so all new apps go directly to the New SD Card. Back from putting card in A01. My phone not same as video. The second reload of card I tried goin to Device Care- Storage and saw photos on SD Card Yajoooo!!!! First try I did see the box for allow camera use SD Card but each photo said memory still full after I took picture. Now the camera works witout message. And photos are appearing in gallery. Mainly message of storage full is gone

Samsung a01 model, new cards 256Gb and 512Gb, class 10. Both are formatted. Changed the settings in the camera and it does not hold the pic. It will hold my podcasts though. Have to use internal space and google pics to make sure that they are kept

Not really. This phone doesn't allow you to move apps to your card. Those have to stay on your phone's memory. Stupid I know.

I can't receive emails to an email address I have had for years still after installing 32 G on storage plus I spoke with rep about this issue and she said that if I uninstall and reinstall email address that I would receive emails. I did this while speaking with her and some came through. I took the survey bc I was please but later they stopped coming through again. I am very disappointed

Please help. I did everything you said I am not getting the option to move files to Sd card, it just says storage space is full. I got a folder of folders to save to save to the sd card so I deleted them from my phone because I saved them to my sd card, they deleted from the phone which I wanted but also from the sd card after I just saved it to there. I understand the whole SD card thing. What I can't figure out is why nothing I do or delete really helps me with the storage problem I have with the Samsung A12. I've transferred every app that will go to the SD card only to find out the next day they're all back on internal storage. Also I have deleted everything I possibly can only to find I may have gained less than 1 GB of free space. Even while everything is still on my SD card out of 32 gb total 28.6 is always still used up. I have 4 other devices and I have never seen this before. This phone is new and I have only installed a minimum amount of apps on it. The reason I'm even fooling with this piece of junk is because I live in a rural area and this A12 picks up better than my other phones for some weird reason. Anyone else have any suggestions. I'm at my wit's end. Help me please 🥺

I've had this phone for about 6 months now. Overall... its average. Before the AO1, I had a Galaxy J3 Prime (another budget Galaxy). I liked it more. But it was a few years old and slowing down quite a bit. But it had more useful features in my opinion.

I installed an SD card in this POS Samsung. I keep moving apps to the card, and after awhile, it says that there is not enough storage space. I look on the card and I've only used 1%! After that, the phone will start moving the apps back to internal storage ALL BY ITSELF! IT'S MADDENING! No one can seem to help me with this - not Samsung, not my cell phone company, and not even local cell repair companies!

Go to samsung.com and talk to a tech. Sounds like the display is malfunctioning. Unfortunately if it's replaced then it's no longer under warranty.

I bought a card at Walmart and it didn't work. It wouldn't take a new card it still said memory full so to be honest I dont know why my phone wouldn't work I did basically everything in the video and the guy from Walmart said basically my phone cant handle anymore memory cuz its junk

Sorry, but you kinda rush the actual process of installing the card. Not to mention a little disclaimer to be careful that your sim card doesn't fall out into the shag carpet or couch cushion....
