Press down volume button & power button at same time, but do not hold. Release quickly. You'll see screen flash.

I "upgraded" from the Moto G Optimo Maxx & feel comfortable with it's many features, EXCEPT for the screenshot capability. I was at a loss but was incredibly grateful to discover your instructional video specific to my issue today regarding the Samsung A03. @@honeybee2356 I miss normal SIZE fingerprint scanner on the back. This Ao3 is absolute garbage for fingerprint/thumbprint scanner. Its nothing but slit on the side as opposed to Moto's handy dandy dime sized scanner on the back. AND because this thing [ao3] is so thin & slick as a ribbon, I put a simple hard case on it for protection. Thumbprint scanner now useless. It never works now & I always have to do my pin. It is because of this Ao3 that I'm getting ready to "dumb down" & go to a light/dumb phone. Nevertheless, best wishes in your life endeavors.

The trick is you have to tap them both quickly. If you hold it too long it won't work

Good video. Love the theme music during the 2nd option. I wish phone manufacturers (and all tech industry developers, really) could make the simple, simple again. So they don't rack up overhead in customer service on the most trivial things. Or, worse, forego customer service and just blatantly stop caring about the end user. And only exist to profit off criminally marked up, overpriced plastic.
