Samsung is offering a $150 discount if you trade in your old Samsung phone such as the A32 5G. Unfortuantely, the A32 5G released in 2021 is stuck on Android 13 because Samsung decided not to update it to Android 14, so this is a good trade-in if you are looking to upgrade to a newer phone

U can get an a34 for 240 dollars and it performes the same, sometimes faster, than the a35

It's just seem as though samsung have done nothing here to make it feel good on the software side its basically software from 5 years ago without the bells and whistles you get from the pro and ultra of 3 or 4 years ago

For $400 you can get a refurbished z fold 3. For another $50, you can get z fold 4. At just $270, you can get S20 ultra 5g.

Not sure what Samsung was thinking by releasing this phone and not the A55 in the US. Sure, it's $50 cheaper than the A54 was, but it's pretty much just a redesign of that phone but with downgraded cameras and a slightly larger display. The A55 with the Exynos 1480, better cameras, and more premium build would be a much better deal for $450 than this is at $400. I can only assume that Samsung was worried that the A55 would cannibalize S23FE sales. Now, if this was $300 it would be a solid budget phone IMHO and it probably won't be long before we see it drop to that price. That said, this phone will probably be a "carrier special" that people will get for free with a new line rather than something they go out and buy outright.

its an unwieldly phone physically, and weight is up there. glass back is a bad decision as well (not Gorilla glass on the back and attracts smudges)

Hmmm me haz not yet chosen a phone. The flagship phones leave me wanting microSD expandable storage and a 3.5 jack. Here I look at more phones....wow a microSD slot on the A35, the business turds kindly put that there. Add a 3.5 jack! Add them to something like the S23Ultra and I shall buy it.

Samsung A55 5g camera is much better than the A35 5g.
