@joyb18 yes , since may patch , Samsung enabled the 4k stabilization on the camera setting , which is good move since it was a 450$ phone

You should do a54 5g vs a53 5g, apparently after one ui 5.1 the a53 5g got eis added to 4k30fps (so its now ois+eis) and the camera got updates so image quality should be better now on the a53 5g Edit: nvm the update seems to only be on a52s so far, which isn't sold in us and canada AFAIK. the a53 and a54 might get it soon though.

The comparison is not unfair at all, in fact the video of the Galaxy A54 looks actually better, if there wasn't a catch...the lack of image stabilization makes the Galaxy A54 useless for vlogging🙁

Actually you can have stabilization in all cameras when you record at 1080p/30fps.. but there is no stabilization at 4K.. the reviewer only record the sample at 4K and didn't even mention if the a54 actually has great stabilization if you record at 1080p/30fps

@@FloriTravels dont worry.. the 1080p/30fps video quality even looks better than my old s21plus.. the stabilization better too..

@@mactian9493 Thanks, that"s awesome. Have you ever tried to use an external microphone on a Samsung phone with the native camera app in the standard mode ? (Not pro-mode). Daniel Sin along with another KZfaqr said it was not a problem (related to the S20 FE), but countless of comments on KZfaq complain about it and I also had no luck recording a video with an external microphone.

The galaxy is great! Just the stabilisation in 4k is the weak point in its camera! With handle it will be fixed for sure

Can't be fixed because exynos 1380 having weak isp, that's why can't activate eis on 4K.

@@archie7288 it's not about the cpu , it's about the lineup , samsung never added eis to Galaxy A5x, but they give that feature only for galaxy a7x on 4k , my a71 can record 4k 30 fps with video stability and it's much lower performance than the exynos 1380 , m54 had the same cpu of the a54 but it can record 4k with stability because it's the alternative of the a7x

Very good performance from the A54 considering this is a mid range/budget phone and the iPhone costs 3x more

A54 is good, but sucks in night time photography, and blurry when there's movement.

You are shooting A54 on 4k On 1080p its rock stable both wide and ultra wide lens OIS doesn't work on 4k for Galaxy A54 At least know the device properly first before doing a comparison video

I have both the A54 & iPhone 14PM. A54 is doable. It will do the job adequately. Just don’t use it for video. No stabilization, it hurts your eyes watching it. Not unless you have a very steady hands.

You could buy the A54 and a decent DJI gimble for less than the iPhone 14 Pro or an A54 and a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 to shoot video for the same price.

Bueno no falta el campeón de lo obvio en llegar a decir que el Iphone 14 pro es mejor xd... obviamente es mucho mejor, es la cara actual de Apple, el equipo emblema de esa compañía, pero eso no hace al Samsung Galaxy A54 un mal teléfono, de hecho, en la toma de video no está activado el sensor de estabilidad máxima, al hacerlo es casi perfecta la grabación casi como el Iphone 14, el detalle está en que ya no graba en 4K sino baja un escalón la calidad, pero vamos tío, nuevamente, creo que es obvio que la comparación entre esos dos equipos es inútil, para el precio en el que está hoy en día el A54, lo vale totalmente y se sobra incluso.

The a54 is way better; much better screen with amoled and 120 hz. I noticed today when I was outside in the sunlight that its much brighter than my old OnePlus Nord. Better camera and overall a better phone. I got a a54 a few days ago, and Im very pleased so far.

@arntarnesen8757 iphone 14 is 2000 nits if you get pro model. A54 is only 1000 nits still bright not as bright as s23 1750
