I have a almost 3y old s5. It fell so many times that you wouldn't believe it. Screen is still scratchfree but it looks like there is still an extra protectionskin on the glass that is starting to let go. Great phone, still works pretty good

Just because the A7 has more weight doesnt mean that it will fall with more momentum than the others and break more easily. The speed in which an object falls at is dependant in gravity. In fact, since the A7 has more surface area, it should obtain more air resistance and fall slightly slower than the rest because of it.

I Crinched went he dropped all 3 phones. Especially for the A7. Cracked beyond anything. That phone Sustained the most damage. Very sure all phones will be new again. Once fixed.

I dropped my 2017 a5 indoors and my heart nearly stopped. it has a gold aluminium cover on it that is more for looks then protection, but it was ok. i have now fitted one of those stick on finger loops to the back now, you can buy them cheap on ebay. as long as one of your fingers is in the loop you cant drop your phone.

Making these of glass was a dumb idea, they heat up way too much in the sun and break when dropped. I dropped my Moto G 100 times without a cover and it never scratched or broke, the back plastic popped off, I put it back on and it's sweet

My A5 (2017) fell exactly the same way, on its lateral side and back facing side, the rear glass broke and the screen no longer displays anything. Any fix idea ?

I bought a galaxy a7 like yours and four days later it fell from a table and scratched all over and it worked really well for the few first hours while the screen turned black slowly (it drove me off) and then I just couldn't see anything! I had to get a new screen which cost me about 160$!!!!
