to help environment instead of skipping charger why can't companies launch one model per year which is overall upgrade so it will save earth instead of launching phones every month with minor upgrades

I'm glad I bought M51. Samsung these days feels like looting customers more now. Not giving charger with the phone is criminal.

I had M51 It was probably the best M series phone

Just noticed, they are giving charger at 298 only with the 8/128 variant and not with the cheaper variant. Samsung always plays atleast one cheap tactic.

When I bought my M51, I got the 25 watt charger in the box, Glad I made the right choice.... Still works great and that too with a snapdragon processor😁

Samsung has shifted its range of series. The M 5 number series now earlier A 5 number series in terms of prices. Current 5 number A series is earlier 7 number A series. 7 series is now FE series in terms of prices 🤣🤣 Never the less, its a good move that Samsung is offering user a 25w charger at discounted prices. That way those who want can buy it with a small additional amount. This will "save environment" without burning a hole in the pocket. Hope Samsung applies this for flagships also.

Hi Ranjith, i have been a follower of your YT for past few years, you have been most helpful and most of all honest. I would like to address an issue which i personally faced wrt samsung M series phones with sAMOLED display. I had M51 and my mom had M31. Phone as such was great except the bloatware which gets downloaded with every update. But the issue i faced was really the display. Both our phones (1 month apart) just around 1.5 years since purchase without any physical damage gave up. I started to stop working for few min then coming back on but within a day it stopped working. Upon taking it to service they said LED issue and display has to be replaced for 7.8k(per display). Now upon research i found this common for M and A series amoled phones in samsung.

If we don't have a 3.5mm jack, will we be able to listen to FM radio? I thought that we need the wired headphones to act as an antenna.

We should stop calling these quadbayer sensor as a 108,64,48mp bcoz they aren't. These are mere 12 & 16mp sensors after a binning but inferior than traditional bayer sensor. The whole purpose was to reduce manufacturing cost by increase yield.

Samsung has done a complete overhaul in m series..this is a good one with apt pricing.

After using an M51 with a 7000 battery, I cannot settle with any phone having a battery of less than 2 days.

Samsung is really bad with software updates(not the frequency but the quality and the junk that comes with update) my m31 screen stopped working after first update after warranty period(quite strange). With brands promising longer updates it only means that they are forcing us to buy new phones.

The charger for 299 extra is justified imo!! Edit: Samsung removed this 25 watt charger for 299 from amazon which is a total shame, if they would've not done this just to get the initial reviews boosted, it would've been fine but what they've done is unacceptable

First of all not giving a charger in box is really bad, at least in case of midrange smartphones. Sooner or later others brands will follow this brand. And other thing is camera, really really disappointed with Samsung. Primary sensor is good, but other 3 are pretty useless. At least they would have given a 13MP ultra wide camera rather than those 2-2MP sensors.

I have M51, and man what a phone this is, best in class within 30k. Camera is better than nord and other line ups.

Will the Voice Focus/Call Clarity option work over headphones? My current phone seems to lack this and I have to be sure to be in a noise free environment when using Bluetooth headphones while making calls. I also noted that the audio dropped out on one channel when you recorded the front cam footage. Does that happen regularly? Thanks, Ranjit.

How about the long term reliability of this type of "Power Button" on 3rd or 4th year? The buttons are the one wear out first.

All android applications of it will work there or not ? Specially Kite by Zerodha android app will support in it or not ? Had a very bad experience with samsung m42 5g. Exactly after 1 year and 15 days phone started to re boot repeatedly and samsung authorised service center at chennai asked me 9,500 rupees to change the mother board as the only solution. Samsung producing such a quality phone....

In 2003, I had a computer with 512mb RAM. I was so happy and satisfied with it. And look at me now. Now I need a phone with 8gb RAM! Humans are never satisfied 🙂

Samsung nowadays: *Provide longer update than others* Also Samsung: *Brick the phones and make users change the motherboard or the phone after getting the updates.*

Saw everybody's m53 videos, thought of buying it, saw Gizmoddict's video, dropped the idea, will wait for some more time but not buy a compromise when i am increasing my budget from 15 to 25k Ended up buying moto g52 for mom

Reasons not to buy this M53, or the M33. : No 3.5 MM Jack. : No Charger in the box. : Camera layout is meh (At least imo.) : TFT display on M33 (Samsung has gone back to its old roots) by not giving AMOLD Screen. : Price not great in terms of value for money. Better to buy the previous model of the M Series lineup. Buy this phone only if you’re interested in theses stuffs. : Android Updates. : Don’t mind not having the 3.5 MM jack. : As well don’t mind paying extra for the charge, as well other accessories. : Cameras & 120Hz are subjective to each individual. P.s. I’m just here to save your money by not buying this M Series. I would’ve bought M33 myself if Samsung had not given awful camera layout, as well the TFT display.

Are u sure that this one has UFS internal storage insted of eMMC? I strongly doubt that. Did u confirm the fact with any kind of app or something? Cuz previous m52 got eMMC though

Hi Ranjit, I purchased M52 5G, but the microphone is not at all working properly during calls whenever I turn on the speaker or (Video calls on Whatsapp, Duo, Signal etc.,). I think it is the problem with the secondary microphone. Every samsung M series users are facing this issue. Please let me know if you have any solution.
