I just got the phone... battery sucked at first, but after 4 days got a bit more stable. Got adaptive refresh rate on, and I'm getting 1% drain every 4-5min during active use, got almost 9hrs battery life yesterdaywith AOD on

@@emilioamador709 how is putting the pressure on samsung an excuse when they clearly need to get their shit together on processors and batteries? These are two key, fundamental areas they should have right by now. Again, maybe its the brands responsibility to efficiently manage what you use and not absolutely tank battery on a device that costs a sizeable amount by any reasonable stretch, which stands to reason you will logically use. The point is it shouldn't very an issue so maybe stop making inadvertent excuses for failures on their end. If it wasn't for people demanding Samsung get better you wouldn't have high refresh rates, cameras that are competent and focusing (which shouldn't have been an issue anyway) and somewhat address their dire processor situation which is still poor on the exynos front which isn't projected to get better for years which is awful, especially after the hype about the AMD partnership crashing and burning when held against proported performance claims. I could go on. No excuses.

Exactly...even an official samsung vid on youtube adviced to set the refresh rate to 60Hz to save battery! If i wanted to use a 60hz panel, why would i pay 700 instead of a 350 mid ranger? Absolutely senseless. And look at these fanboys, these brands ain't your daddys... you can criticise them even if you're a fan (coming from a samsung S21 user)

It's not necessarily that. The phone performs just fine without doing the "tone down." Every flagship has issues. This one has battery life issues. I still can easily get 5.5 to 6 hours of screen on time which isn't terrible buuuut I can also kill it faster than some days.

I definitely need my higher refresh rate. Honestly, after the updates, I haven’t compromised with anything and I’m getting pretty decent battery life.

Probably a lot. I avoid the complete power saving mode myself just because I don’t want it affecting the snappiness of the phone. But that would definitely help even more.

Honestly, using power saving mode doesn't affect the snappiness of the phone. I have turned off all animations in developer options as well, which saves battery and makes the phone feel faster
