What most reviewers fail to mention is that, as a Standalone device, S22 ultra is way more productive than Iphone 13 pro max.

Most of the people who can afford s22 ultra won't have this as a standalone device. Commenting from Note 20 ultra. But I rarely use 10% of its exclusive features.

Honestly speaking even being a Android fan boy iPhone 13 Pro Max is the most consistent device. You don’t need to worry about battery and performance on A15 Bionic can play even Gension impact if you want without a problem but in most 2022 SD 8Gen 1 phones it throttles after about 15 minutes. Camera is good on both but if you forget the zooming thing on Samsung which is a very good feature the overall consistency is better on 13 Pro Max. The only thing matters to a Android user who will buy a 13 pro max is the awful notch and the locked IOS software which cannot even place app icons where u need. Multi tasking is amazing on Android but most people don’t use it that much. Updates are still better on IOS. This is the sad truth. This round goes to IP 13 pro max.

I upgraded to the S22U from a Note 20 Ultra a few weeks ago and I love it. But then again not much has been changed compared to my Note 20 Ultra and that was a phone I loved. Probably the biggest thing I like about the S22U is the QHD+ 120hz display, it's buttery smooth. I also love how bright it is outdoors in direct sunlight, I haven't actually had to use the extra brightness feature because just using adaptive brightness seems to work fine in direct sunlight. I also love that I can finally shoot video using the wide-angle lens camera, that was the main annoyance for me on the Note 20 Ultra, when I shot my KZfaq videos I had to have the phone like 3-4ft away from what I was filming in order to get it totally in frame, but with my S22U I don't have to worry about that. Regarding the haptic feedback, atleast for me I think that's the one area that Samsung messed up. I loved the nice strong vibrations when interacting with my Note 20 Ultra, but Samsung decided to change the haptic feedback motor from a horizontal motor to a vertical motor which weakened it, so now I don't get as strong a vibration as I had on my Note 20 Ultra, and I don't like that.

Yeah the S22U has an excellent display but I take it if you already had a Note 20U you were used to Samsung's great displays already. And yeah, I notice the difference in haptics to when I switch between one of my family member's S20+ and my 22+. I definitely prefer the stronger haptic feedback and hope that Samsung brings that back for the S23 series.

Animations still lag and stutter. Gesture navigation isn't implemented well. If they can't get basic things right like animations , there's no hope lol 🙄

Thank you for the review. It was nice phone presentation, however for the long term review, specially after 2 months it would be great to see some more examples and feedback from day to day usage. That is something people wants today :) specially when phone got updated over the time. Anyway I enjoy watching your reviews ! all the best !

I have been using this phone too, but it does heat up, don't give out wrong information please. 8Gen1 is good but not very battery friendly, heats easily. Also when you're using camera for like about more than 5 mins, the camera module gets heated as well. Same was the problem on S21 Ultra which I used last year. Honest reviews would be more appreciated! Also, S21 Ultra doesn't lose 7-8% of battery overnight!

@@florencepearl9121 I feel you. I recently bought a Realme GT Neo3, my first ever MediaTek phone, believe me it's faster than 8Gen1. It never heats. I'm not kidding. This phone is capable of doing everything at ease. The only cons is the camera.

How much screen on time you guys are getting, I'm getting appx 6-7 hrs sot on 120 hz fhd mode. (snapdragon version) Battery drain over night is 1% per hour on 4g data and dual sim connection. Let me know yours sot and battery drain over night 🙂

7:15 - but @TechBuffet said that 120Hz drops a lot in Ui and third party apps! Also in sunlight, the brightness drops quickly thus we aren't able to get the full use of 1750 nits HIGHEST brightness and in harsh sunlight, iphone 13 Pro max feels brighter!

I don't like the greenish tint on this phone. The white point is off but when you use it alone you won't know. The greenish tint affects everything including video images, web browsing, and pictures. I bought it but after comparing it with my Oppo Find X2 Pro I returned it

I have s22 ultra and It get more hot withing 10min camera use. So i never recommended S22ultra for photography or videography more than 10mon, bcoz it will get over heating issue..

I think the speakers are a major downgrade from the s21 ultra and even the note 20 ultra. No reviewer seems to mention this and in fact the opposite which is a bit upsetting

@@SwervinSpliffs27 Thanks. I tried, pop does make it a little better, but I'm having major issue with the clarity of speech, everyone, male/female/young/old, no one is talking with a clear throat, they all sound like they have some phlegm in their throat, so annoying and irritating.

A great review I didn’t upgrade to the s22 Ultra cos I have the S21 Ultra & with the new software upgrade is really good on UI 12.1 now with a lot of similar camera features like the S22 Ultra, I do like the stylus a lot & the design of the phone so I probably will get the s23 ultra when it comes out I think that will be a fantastic phone specially if it comes out with the 200 megapixel larger camera sensors anyway thanks & peace ✌️

Please don't buy the screen uv glass or Armor back cover from glazing. They are not serious and they don't respond once after placing an order. Don't have proper tracking system

Hi, I request you Tech youtubers to talk more about a Samsung display failure scam due to software update. Sudden green line out of nowhere. Service centre agrees that many mobiles are suffering this issue due to software update and they are ready to replace screen for free if head office VOC team agrees. But, VOC TEAM rejected my case saying that it was due to impact damage. This is completely absurd. Because the service centre has sent a report of my mobile (sought by HO team) where in they have clearly mentioned the issue as TECHNICAL ISSUE. But HO team falsely closing cases individually even though I have submitted screenshots of similar problems from Samsung members forum. Another interesting event. As soon as I told customer care executive that my display has a green line, he did not ask me if I dropped my mobile. Rather, he asked me an interesting question. DID YOU UPDATE YOUR MOBILE TO LATEST SOFTWARE PROVIDED BY SAMSUNG? Strange right? U say that ur display failed and he asks about software update. Yet Samsung pretends individually that it is unaware of this global display quality issue. Shame on you Samsung. I feel this is huge scam. There are various news articles on the internet regarding this. Samsung members forum is filled with this issue. Yet Samsung pretends.

Mad people spends rs 1 lakh for a smartphone 20k to 30k phones are sweet spot for buying a smartphone and it almost fulfill all needs and day today tasks it's more than enough

depends, if you want a little bit better display and a bit of a bigger battery go for s22 ultra... but, if you want better performance, handiness, longer update support go for s22+ i would recommend you to buy s22+, because of snapdragon 8gen1 the exynos s21 ultra is trash and heats like a oven (if you get the snapdragon varient of s21 ultra, then you can go for it)

S22+ solely because of Snapdragon processor. I used s21+ last year and i changed it in 4 months because of shitty Exynos. It doesn't feel flagship level at all just a mid ranger processor. So you should go for s22+ because I'm improved software updates new features and better hardware experience.
