8:40 This is something that used to bother me years ago on ios. I swear this is a trick implemented to buy the device some load time, but done in a way to make you think you just miss tapped.

Both are quite equally matched at speed but istg i can help but notice how much better samsung’s display and colour is, it makes the iphone 15 pm look like a LCD display

Yes I can do that. Before that let me lay the fact, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has much better display than the iPhone 15 Pro Max. It beats its practically in every way except refresh rate which they are both capped at 120hz. But I will do that for us to watch it.

I think the apps that use network/WiFi do not make the comparison accurate. Rather use only apps that require heavy memory to start

I tend to agree to some extent. Except to say that essentially aside from basic phone apps, every app uses network to access. So once they are all on the same Wi-Fi network then it means it's a good score. I would have preferred it if I could use 5G exclusively on both phones. Also, I think that consumers have different use case scenarios and so there is huge variations in terms of which apps to use. For my use case, I don't game on my phone and that's why I chose basic ones for the purpose.

Both great phones!! I have the 15 pro max with bullstrap case. S24.. well you can’t get full grain leather case for it at least bullstrap etc etc but apple is so smooth & polished over Samsung imo. If apple had a pen like the ultra, oh boy 🤩. Some people don’t use the pen careless about it, but I would put it to work if I had it.

This is great to read. I agree especially about the S-Pen. I use it all the time both on the S24 Ultra and the Tab S9+. If Apple had one on the iPhone, it would be one of the reasons to buy and use it daily. Thanks, bossman.

Upgraded from iphone 11 to s24U because 15pro max offers were too pricey. My last Samsung was note8. Am enjoying the ultra so much just that the main camera quality is questionable compared to my old iphone 11. It gives very soft images, I don't want to say blurry but ayy I wish I cud choose to have the main camera from 15 pro max and everything else from the ultra camera wise

This is interesting. I rather think my S24U has too much sharper pictures such that I sometimes think Samsung should instead tone it down. The 15PM isn't too sharp compared to the S24U and I think that feels less sharpened which is a good thing. For sharpness based on what I have tested, the S24U is too sharp even with both 12MP and 50MP on the main lens, sometimes the 200MP doesn't do.

Yes. I think so Harmans. If you check other reviewers you'll notice majority complain of the S24 Ultra pictures being too sharp with some making claims Samsung tries to digitally sharpen the image in post processing. So if I am not mistaken then I think there's something weird happening to your device. Because the S24 Ultra and iPhone 11 are widely apart in terms of image quality. Even the S10 and S20 from similar generations as the iPhone 11 have too much sharpeness on their lens than the iPhone 11.

Organize similar apps into a folder and put them at the dock. I always prefer a clean looking homescreen and lockscreen.
