The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and Galaxy Tab S5e are two mid-range tablets with many similar features but some important differences. With the S5e, we get a super slim design and a Super AMOLED screen with a bit better performance. It also supports the Samsung DeX desktop mode and an optional keyboard dock. With the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, on the other hand, you get newer Android 10 and the S Pen stylus. It's included at no extra charge and works fantastic.

I just got the S5E ! Better sound! (4 speakers vs 2), better screen, ( super amoled ) it has Desk mode ! better battery ! Better Cams, finger print scanner...

I just pre-ordered S6 lite a few days ago. I was hesitating for a while between these two tablets, but in my country S6 lite is 70€ cheaper and it comes with Samsung's original case. I also really wanted the S pen. I only worry a bit about the screen, Amoled would be way better... But hey I am finally upgrading from my 7 year old tab 10.1 so no complaining 😁

Yes. Finally! I think I'll stick with the s5e. I need that Dex feature and AMOLED screen.

Good review glad I have the S5E am mostly outside and the amoled seems to be better performing for outside use.

Nice job. I had planned to get the S6 Lite when it became available, but one of those targeted ads we all curse showed up and pointed me to the Samsung website, where the S5e was the same price. After making a side-by-side list just as you did, the S5e won. Much more refined all around. I was tempted by the pen, but realistically didn't think I'd use it that much. I've had the S5e now for about 2 weeks, and just love the thing. I have been using the LTE model at work, and having that really helped.
