I just bought a Tab S7 256gb online for 170 with an unnoticeable 1/8 inch tiny crack on the top right corner. Fully functional. Going from a Tab S2 it's an amazing upgrade!

I got one s7 for my brother to play video games. Brand new for 290, just yesterday. I have one and I love it! So sad about the software updates but for what we use it I guess is ok.

I'm indecisive about getting the tab S7 or the S8, some people say the snap 8 gen 1 in the s8 heats too much... the price difference is very little in my country, do you have a suggestion?

Another good option would be the tab s9 fe. Depends on if you care about software updates or not. If you don't care about updates, then the s7 is still a better all around tablet than the s9 fe.

It still works, and I am still working with it. It performs pretty well and syncs and works along with Windows 11 too.

Very worth it, I've had mine for about a year and it's basically a 2 in 1 laptop if you know your way around dex and other 3rd party software. I've used it to write notes, type, browse the web, do schoolwork, play games, code, and watch movies with friends. If you don't need exe files for your workflow (which you can probably still run on android somehow) in my opinion this is a completely viable laptop substitute. All the third-party alternatives are there, you just need to find them

i love my tab s7... it was feeling really slow on one ui tho so i can't recommend it to anybody unwilling to modify the system (i use aosp 14 + google apps)

Bought an s7 in january 2022 for £700, tried updating software at the beginning february and got stuck in a software loop. 10 days after the 2 year warranty ended... Tablet was working fine before. Diagnosis by them: defective motherboard, €400 to repair. Absolutly gutted as I use it specifically for university. Been asking for a solution for a month now and still nothing. To me a lifespan of barely 2 years is unacceptable for this price! Do you consider this normal? Think I can get a new tablet from them if I file a complaint?

Is Android version related to what apps you can download and install? Noticed Geekbench 6 not available when on A12 tablet yet running A13 or 14 on other tabs it was. It could be a hardware related matter as well, TBC.

Geekbench requires 4gb of RAM but yes could be android related

Do you mean A12 iPads? Geekbench 6 works fine on those iPads. Or what tablets do you mean? You can run virtually everything with Android 10 or later

Just picked one up from my local pawn shop. Its going through updates but i think the server for october 1st 2022 is slow. Its taking me hours to finish and im still waiting. It is downloading, just extremely slow.

Thank you for thid really unhappy with current options and second hand tanlets in the UK are nearly as expensive as the top end new devices. S7 seems a bit more reasonable around £300.
