One of the biggest knocks on previous Galaxy Watches was the lack of apps. When Samsung announced that the Galaxy Watch 4 would be running WearOS by Google, I think a lot of us were super excited. With a brand new platform, there’s gonna be a lot of questions, so let’s see if I can help answer some. This is my review of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4.

This was super helpful!! I have been watching several reviews, mostly from men and none of them said what size the watch was. As a woman I really needed to know if the bigger one was too big for me and you talked about it right at the beginning! The rest of the review was as good! I think your output was right on. Everything I needed and wanted to know! Thank you!!

Well it’s really not something one can give recommendations about. I’m a girl, too, but my wrist is 18,5 cm, so 44 mm is the way to go, 42 looks like a toy. But it depends much more on the width of your wrist actually than on total circumference, and no one mentions that.

Google maps navigation mode and the handwriting recognition & speech-to-text on messages look great!

Samsung,s speech to text is great and Bixby is improving too. The only issue with Bixby is follow up questions and surfing the internet. But then google is a search engine so Google assistant will need better in surfing the web Also, integration with some third party apps like WhatsApp is not too good for some reason. But Bixby integrates very well with google apps like Google maps etc. Samsung speech to text is great though

As always, great review! Been looking at this watch for a little while now. Torn between the regular and classic version though. I love the physical rotating bezel of the classic but there's something about the minimal design of the regular one that catches my eye too. Decisions, decisions 🤔

Hi Thao. Hands down this Is the most informative watch 4 video on KZfaq. I been dying for someone to use the talk to text feature to see if Bixby is really 35% faster. Based on your review it looks so much faster than all previous models. What an amazing review. Thank you for this.

Great video as always Thao! I'm so excited to get my Watch 4! I switched to an S20 from an iPhone 11 Pro Max a bit over a year ago and I decided not to get a Galaxy Watch2 Active since I figured a new model would be coming soon. Took a bit longer than I was expecting, but I'm glad I waited now that they've switched to wearOS and the Tizen models won't be updated.

Awesome review like always Thao. Really glad you talked about the new band and how stiff it is. Also loved that you tested out Bixby. I can tell its so much faster and will be an okay replacement until we get google assistant. Curious as to why you got the regular watch this time and not the classic. You love that rotating bezel :)

Awesome review! Finally, someone who really knows their stuff and covered just about everything. The Verge basically talked about Samsung Health for nearly the entire review. I just ordered the Galaxy4 Classic. I currently have the 3 Classic, but with Samsung's generous trade-in program and a $40 promo code, it was only $160 to upgrade! Like and subscribed - I'm going to check out some of your other reviews right now! 😊

The review i was waiting for! I was already thinking of upgrading (got an s3 frontier) so this helped convince me. Do you know why certain functions are not available for certain countries? I'm in mexico so i think i wont get all, but i'm still curious.. 🤔

Great review! Are you reviewing the LTE version or just the Bluetooth/Wi-Fi model? Could I still receive calls, make calls, and text to and from with the non LTE version? I'm torn between the two because I'm worried about having two SIM devices on my person most of the time. I'm worried about too much SAR. However, my understanding is that the watch 4 SAR is pretty low like .010 or something like that. I can't remember the rating exactly. Thanks.
