Hey guys, I have missed out on a couple of points. The galaxy watch 4 classic has stainless steel frame whereas the galaxy watch 4 has aluminum frame. Both models come with Gorilla Glass DX+. And there is an error at 1.37 regarding the sizes the classic is of course 42 & 46mm.

Stainless steel gives it a premium look and stronger build. But aluminum is pretty good too.. i have used active 2 aluminum and it has faired well.. there is no scratches at all..

I'm still wearing my Gear Sport so I will make a decision on the Galaxy watch 4 classic towards the end of this year. The battery is going to be amazing.

The classic rotating bezel provide some type of protection for the screen on the watch. Can't count how many times I inadvertently slam my frontier on some surface and the rotation bezel protects the screen from breaking. Can't deny the regular watch 4 variant looks good without the rotating bezel 😍

Shouldn’t be a problem, my active 2 got a fair share of beating on the glass and when I gave it away due to poor battery life and bixby it still looked as good as new. It was the steel version though, so they may have used a better kind of glass on it, not sure

Yes they use Gorilla Glass DX plus which is quite strong and resits scratches.

i think you're thinking too much about it. I have active 2 slammed it on the wall and corners many times. havent cracked yet nor scratched.. (not including micro scratches) But there are scratches on the casing.

I like the looks of GW4, classic is 2 times heavier and it doesn't look all that good, doesn't justify the bigger price! GW3 looked a lot nicer than GW4 classic, so I will go for black GW4 LTE version! Thanks for helping me decide.

it’s possible disable bezel function to use it like dive watch or to track time elapse ? i mean = disable the bezel to dont go to menu when i turn or spin . I want that the bezel even rotating do not go to menu , i need to stay in pointers face to use tachymeter

Went to see the watches today and I would like to point this out> I went with the 44mm Watch4 and with the 46mm Watch4 Classic ... swiped both to the screen where you have 4 circles with sports activities to choose from... now ... there is a difference in the screen estate. I know they said they're both the same size... but please go this make this test and you will see that the image itself is not the same on both watches. On the Classic 2 of the circles are just a bit cut off at the edges while on the "normal" one there is no cut off, you even have some space between the the circles and the edge. One can see that on the non-Classic version ... more of the image can fit on the screen

They actually do. I have one. As long as the watch has 4g capabilities, It's considered a connected device and will have its own number but you can set up numbershare & it will you to use your watch as your phone anywhere you go.

In the US many of the health features (Blood pressure for example) will not work. So the bigger question is why move up from the Galaxy watch 3

I've had the galaxy watch, active 2, then galaxy watch 3 45mm LTE NOW I've ordered the galaxy watch 4 45mm. Reason is I rarely use the rotating bezel, I prefer the screen design and sleek look on the watch 4. It's an obvious choice now to get the watch 4.... Same spec but better design.

Is the watch classic more difficult to take on runs. I want the bezels but I don't want a watch that jumps around on my wrist. Anyone had experience with either of these while running?

Hi, if you use it extensively track fitness then the watch 4 is better as it's a sporty variant. However the watch 4 classic is not as bulky as it's predecessors.. it looks great and I don't think there would be any issue while running if you have an average or a big wrist.

Hello, LTE version independently uses cellular services. You don't need your phone to be connected to make calls or receive notifications whereas Bluetooth version of the watch connects to cellular services through your phone

Thank you for this video. It facilitated my decision on which one to choose. However, I have a OnePlus 9 phone and I don't know if the watch and phone are compatible with each other. Can you please clarify that? I would really appreciate it.

Hi, I am glad the video helped.. I did make another video talking about what features are compatible. I have researched a bit and found that some of the major features such as BP monitoring, Body mass measurement, ECG may not work on non samsung phones. There could be workarounds to install apks and make it work but officially it may not be possible. This was also reported on Android central and Tom's guide. So be wary of that.

They also use different materials. The normal one is aluminum if I recall correctly and the Classic is stainless steel.

He said it's the same size but the touch screen is 44mm and the classic is 46mm but to me I have had both in the past and to be honest I prefer the touch bezel because with the rotating bezel attends to get slower due to dust food etc as the touch u can just wipe off

That'sthe problemI'm having. I have a 3 w/ bezel. And I workout alot and the bezel gets sticky later in the day. 🤮 Then I have to run it under water to get it to spin correctly again. I'm getting the 44mm watch 4 to skip the bezel this time.

I have the original Galaxy watch and it's still running strong! The bezel never has given me any issues! I literally just rotate it and if it has gotten stuck it works it's way out with a twist. I would prefer to have the bezel but I didn't want to spend extra money just to get it. So I went with the green 44 mm. I'm only upgrading to get the extra features. My Galaxy watch still runs perfect

The watch 3 is so heavy and clunky.... I traded it in for the Watch 4 as I think it would be much lighter, that was the main reason for my decision... I like sleeping with my watch on my wrist ...but the watch 3 was sooooo heavy my wrist would be tired by the morning... thank you this was a detailed comparison between the two.

@@davidperez7755 because the watch is so heavy and uncomfortable....I even have to take it off sometimes during the day.... for some reason the back of the S3 was not as flat...it is shaped like a bowl...VERY UNCOMFORTABLE...so that's something that I was sure to look for with this new watch... by the way I have had multiple Samsung watches before... Even the original ones...so I am not a hater... even though I knownyou were being sarcastic...😘

Any word on how these track calories during a work out? On the active 2, it estimates based on your age, weight, and the level of activness you choose. It does not take into consideration your heart rate except when running or walking. On the active two, you can select circuit training or weight training and then take your watch off. You do a 30 minute work out with the watch off it will say you burned the same amount of calories if you kept it on. Has this been improved or is there any word yet on this topic?

That's right i have also pointed this out in one of the videos about watch active 2.. inam yet tk get a hands on on this device . Will test it and let you know.. as of now I haven't learnt anything about how it works on this new watch..

The Galaxy Watch4 is the sportier version out of the two until you fit it with a leather strap and a classic watch face. Then it becomes the more classic out of the two models, because of it's cleaner / slimmer design.

I love the classic look but then again 100 dollars more for same features. Just cause of the looks is BS. I would understand if it had bigger battery or ram or memory but uts exactly the same thing .

the materials are different too. Watch 4 = aluminum, classic - stainless steel. So you do get a bit more durability.

I'm definitely torn. I know it's subjective but I think the classic looks a lot better. That being said, if you're using the watch to monitor all your vitals and need to wear it 24/7 it may be a better idea to have the lighter version.

I'm in the same boat. For work, golf, and just day to day the watch 4 seems like the move. But the classic just looks better. Watch 4 for the monday-friday, classic for the weekend. Hmmm

It's subjective.. I thought the watch 4 regular looks good and pre booked it but after physically wearing both watches in store I changed my mind and went for watch 4 classic. So make sure you visit a store and try them before you buy..

No buddy.. it's the same size battery on both watches but the size differs on the smaller and the larger watch variants. 40 mm watch 4 and 40 mm classic will have same battery. 44 mm watch 4 and 46 mm watch classic will have same battery... hope you are getting the point here..

Lte offers cellular connection on your watch and doesn't need your phone to access cellular services. Bluetooth version can receive calls notifications provided it's connected to your phone.

Yup that's rt.. battery is an issue with recent iterations of samsung watches. However these are bought by the people who prefer new features to battery.🔋 Depends on your requirements..

LTE has cellular service build into the watch like you have it on the phone. LTE watch can receive notifications and calls without having your phone connected or near it. Bluetooth version will get cellular notifications through the phone while your are connected through Bluetooth.
