I picked up the same watch. Really prefer the "smaller" look on my wrist. Although a 46mm blacked out model may have swayed me in that direction. I'm pretty sure you're the first to unbox this particular model! Kudos!

Thank you for the video! My husband is interested in this smart watch but I’m the researcher so I need to make sure this is the right one for him. You were so on point regarding the workouts (starting and stoping for similar areas, you referenced legs) but the phone does track most of the workouts that my husband does. Can wait to see what other videos you have on this watch. I need to find a video showing the use of the features of the watch.

Just got my 46mm today to replace the Fitbit blaze. Only complaint I got is I wish the watch came in matte black like the 42mm.

100% agree with your comment regarding the individual workouts. This is the thing that frustrates me the most and was hoping they would fix. It would be great if we could put them all to work to create workout plans. I currently have the gear s3 and do all my workout on the Pilates setting as it provide me with the most data from my workout. I would be intrested to what data is provided on each individual workout on the new watch. Please do a video 🙏🏾

Can't wait for the full review. Been waiting for a great smartwatch. I noticed that there's difference in battery life for both 42mm and 46mm. Can you tell us how far is the difference? It really sucks that they offered only silver for 46mm, I certainly love the black on 42mm but then the decrease of battery life bugs me.

Looking forward to seeing it in action. Hopefully the tracking is better than previous Samsung devices

Hopefully this is better than the last Galaxy watch, started off great now i can barely get through an 8 hour day even with all the settings disabled.

Just got this watch yesterday, its good. Great battery life. Tad bit bigger than s3. And lighter. I had both watches side by side, and had someone else to make sure I wasn't wrong. The galaxy watch is lighter in weight.

Really tempted to buy this, but I need your verdict on the health and fitness features first! 👍

Why would you not split a curl and an extension? It's different muscles within your leg. Especially if you are using weight or resistance training you will focus on certain muscle groups a day.

Short Update on the hr readings.. Please keep in mind that I achieved the best he readings with my gear sport only when using it with my third party velcro watchstrap because it allowed me to adjust sizing seamlessly and therefore resulted in perfect fit in regards to skin contact.. with a 5 second difference always spot on with my Polar H7 no matter if strength or cardio, steady state or intervals.. would be great if you could consider this during your testing phases.. cheers

I'd really like to see non-exercise related stuff, mostly apps, games, and video playback or KZfaq if possible please, yeah I know a phone screen is better blah blah blah but my job doesn't allow phone use at all while I wait for customers but watches are permitted and would really, really go a long way toward making my day go by quicker

I just can’t get into using a smart watch for weight training. I use mine solely for outdoor running or walking with my dog. I’m also not a fan of super soft watch bands.

Great video, probably the most in depth first look I've seen. I've pre ordered and can't wait for it to come on the 7th of September. Looking to see as much as I can before it comes because I'm inpatient haha. Having to manually switch workouts seems like it'll be a bit of a pain. On my fitbit I could simply put weight lifting :/

They should let you create a whole days workout before so when u do go to start a workout it just coaches and tracks u thru it

If you have a big wrist. The large band won't fit. Mine came with the large band installed.

I am an Apple FB going way back to the early 90s and of all of the gadgets that Apple has launched since then, I have tinkered with them all, yes even the Newton (I am that old), save for one, The Apple Watch. I really hate the techy square face of the watch and had been hoping since it's introduction so many years ago, that a traditional rind face, sadly it has yet to happen and is likely not going to happen. So, I am looking at Android watches, this looks like it might be a contender and the fact that it supports iOS is a big plus.

IMO -- Ive always thought that messing with anything apart from doing what your supposed to do at the gym (Which is workout) is a bad thing... If im constantly having to manually switch between workouts as i change workout activities at the gym. the watch quickly becomes a distraction. because youre having to mess with it every 10-15mins. Maybe these fitness watches need a new algorithm that calculates calorie burn based on your heartbeat... They probably already do but its not 100% accurate.
