I love the fold but seems Samsung again didnt change much since Z4.... Im happy with S24, will only consider Z fold again when they make it a little wider and add the S Pen slot on-board for the ultimate portable note taking experience

Yeah, I remember in the early days of foldable phones, influencers and Samsung fans claiming that the high cost would come down, and though they were of poor value in 2019, they would be much cheaper in time. That could have happened if foldable phones were successful, but they have been a damp squib, with sales only slowly rising, not enough to sustain any price drops. So, to make these still viable to sell, Samsung is raising prices. That is better than some OEMs missing this year's upgrades to reduce losses. Already, it seems, the gloss and hype of a foldable has dissipated, and really, they are relatively standard now, an option for a niche demographic. Nothing really to see here, iterative improvements (welcome), but peak-foldable looks like it is already knocking on our door.

Honestly, I just want to hear what's different from the previous phone. Ninety percent of the Fold 6 is just a Fold 5.

Whatever happened to the release of the tri foldable? I remember samsung was supposed to release it but nothing all of a sudden. Id pay $3000 to get one of those

I stay with my Fold 4. No improvements, no new phone! Fold 5 was a flop and Fold 6 seems like nothing new again. Make it cheaper or better... and I'm not talking about 1 millimeter here and there. No one cares!

Yeah that's an easy pass from me. I won't be "upgrading" from my fold 3 to this narrow ass s*** 😂
