Thanks for the review. I have the M5. However, when wireless screen sharing from windows to monitor, the mouse on the monitor is always an arrow. Even on links where it should change to a hand icon or on text areas where it should change to a single, vertical line. Seems like the monitor is overwriting the the signal from the pc and using it's own cursor. This is really annoying and the click point is not precise. When typing it's impossible to click on two letters. However, on my LG smart monitor this does not happen. I have tried two different laptops, one is win10 and the other win11 and three different mice. Nothing changed. Did you or anybody noticed this and is there a solution? I have called the customer support and they told me I should use the monitor with wired connection!! Thanks.

I have been trying to set up my wireless mouse to this Samsung Smart Monitor and it won't connect. Any ideas what to do? Also, trying to use this as a monitor for my MacBook Air and I find that once connected the sharpness is not great on the monitor and the mouse arrow is jittery and not very precise...the mouse arrow jitters.

I agree with your review the monitors are good. I also agree that Windows 365 and web browsing on the monitor needs more fluency. It kind of lags. would you know of a new gen of this monitor is coming out?

Hey man, you skipped the I/O. I wanted to know if the picture quality is on par with modern TVs !! And can the USB port support USB to 3.5mm headphone port dongles ( usb sound card as they call it). My primary use case for it will be as a TV, because no 32inch comes at 1080p

@Tic Tech Toe I bought this Samsung M5 monitor recently and was disappointed Samsung removed the voice assistant button on the remote so no more Google Assistant, Alexa, Bixby. I'm thinking of buying a used 2021 version M5 monitor but i'm not sure if Samsung disabled voice assistant's with software updates, does Google Assistant or Alexa still work on this monitor?

Oh wow. I would like to see your setup. Are you thinking of using both the 32 inch m5 monitor? Yeah. I mean if it’s going to help you with your work, it will be wonderful. Just ensure that your laptop can display out to 2 external monitors. Old laptops with older chipsets can’t do it.

Yes, you can but not with the stock stand it comes with. You need to get either a monitor arm or an after-market stand and then tilt it vertically. Hope this helps.

I'm planning to buy this monitor. I'll be using it mainly for office works. And ofcourse for binge watch or playing music. I've a concern regarding if there is any pixelation issue (as it is 27' with 1080p resolution) during reading, typing/programming for long time? I'm going to use it as my second monitor for MacBook. Hi Trang. If you are using it solely as a laptop replacement, I would not recommend it. But if you have a Dex compatible device, you can totally run it like a laptop.

Hi Martin. It plays very well. Games look good in Full Hd. Playing the switch on this was good too. Samsung M5 is able to reproduce the graphics and colours well for games.

I think the apps should be different for other regions such as the US. I cannot confirm if you can install those.

Odd - June 23 and I got the newest M5 32 inch for $200 USD($268.88 SGD) from Samsung. This was over $600 less than a month ago? That's Crazy!

@@tictechtoelabs As the original comment said - Right on the Samsung website. Amazon has it for $249.99 as well. To be fair, I got an additional $40 USD off the $249 price for my military discount. But still $249.00 is a lot less than $600+

VA monitor is good as long as you sit in front of it. If you look at from side evrything looks washed out

Yeah. You can run ps5 on this monitor but definitely cannot run 120 fps because the screen is a 60 hz screen.

Hi Karthik. I didn’t see any option or see any VPN apps. But if you know how to side load on Tizen OS or do some port forwarding on your router, you definitely can do some form of VPN

If your MAC doesn’t have a hdmi out, then you need to use a usb dongle with a hdmi out

Do you mean Live TV channels? If you have a set top box with Live Channel subscription, you can potentially watch it by connecting the set top box to the monitor. But if you are asking does the monitor comes with a built in DBV to watch free to air shows, then no...you can't.
